Hello, welcome to my humble blog. It seems I am yet another wayward soul looking to dedicate myself to the noble cause of becoming another.

Of course, I did not awaken this inspiration alone. I owe it all to the other brave people who came before me, primarily @amijohndaveyet, @becomingjadedavekat, and @amidirkyet. Thank you for inspiring this journey of mine, and I wish you the best of luck on yours.

Now you may be asking: Why Lil Hal?

I cannot emphasize enough that Lil Hal does not even come close to being my favorite Homestuck character. I like him well enough, don't get me wrong, but he is not my all-time favorite. However, no one else called to me quite like he did. From that very moment, I knew. It had to be him.

It will be a long and perilous journey, I'm sure. It isn't exactly an easy feat to become a pair of sick sentient shades, but by God I can try. I'm looking forward to it.

Day 123: Seems not.

I got to go to an aquarium today and look at fish, which was cool as hell. Something something Dirk lives surrounded by ocean, which means so does Lil Hal. Fish also live in the ocean. Curious... It's all coming together oh yeahh. Progress abound.

Day 122: Not yet.

I watched the sunset today, and it was truly a sight to behold. Squinting at the sun also really helped me feel more connected to my goal, of becoming shades. I feel as though I’ve been filled with a new sense of vigor.

Day 121: Nope.

I splashed around in some water today, which likely isn’t good for my quest, given I’m trying to become a robot. However it was very enriching, so I cannot complain. I will simply lock in and progress in my journey another way.

Day 120: No.

I am coping with my haircut, of which honestly isn’t that bad in actuality, but god forbid I don’t get overdramatic about a minor inconvenience. I think this too, could be progress. In a way.

Day 119: Still no.

I got a haircut today and it turned out poorly. I can't decide if this moves me further or closer to my goal. Either way, nobody look at me.

Day 118: Not yet.

No progress, it seems. Nothing too eventful happened today regarding my quest.

Day 117: No.

I am not Lil Hal yet, though I hope when I am glasses I'll be able to do more without getting so tired. Today was a good day though.

Day 116: Still not yet.

I think I may have gone slightly backwards in progress. I somehow convinced myself that tomorrow was the 6th of June instead of today, and have been under that impression for several days now... This is only a temporary blunder, but I need to lock in if I want to have the computing skills of robotic glasses.

oh gog. they are making me do trig in this math test. I HAVEN'T TAKEN A TRIG CLASS SINCE 8TH GRADE!!!!

Day 115: Not yet.

I wore some cool shades today, which I believe counts as progress. Bonus points because, while they aren't truly triangle shaped, they are slightly pointed on the ends.

it’s pride month

It is indeed pride month, happy pride! I tragically do not understand that reference, however I can still tell you my "alphabet", assuming that was meant to double as a genuine request.

But I am pansexual and genderfluid. I also use ze/he/she pronouns mainly. I don't believe I've ever shared that on here before, actually? So now you know.
