PS: That reinforces my theory that Haymitch started drinking again because Effie was tortured in the books (I can elaborate), and since Effie is safe in the movies, he didn't drink again

It has probably been said before far more eloquently than I'm about to, but the line "Don't be a stranger" is quite literally the perfect way to end Haymitch and Effie's story in the movie canon. Like, that and the kiss?? Absolutely no notes.

Because it both ties a bow on their relationship, (if that's what you're into), whilst also blowing it wide open for their future, (if that's what you're into), he is literally inviting Effie to remain part of his life (in whatever capacity you want to interpret it).

So it stresses me out to no end that the epilogue for the Sunrise on the Reaping movie might ruin it by giving Haymitch a concrete ending that doesn't have Effie in it, and as much as I would love to see the gang back together (Jennifer, Josh and Woody are confirmed??), I still don't like the thought that the movie canon will change so significantly when it already had the perfect ending :(

If you combine Hades, Adonis and Orpheus you get Haymitch. These are prominent figures in Persephone's stories. Persephone's name can be shortened to Effie.

“Amy and Rory don’t work without the doctor” and “Amy would choose the doctor over Rory”

Oh is that why she felt an immense amount of grief when Rory was erased from the universe? As in never even existed? As in there’s no reason for her to miss him because she doesn’t even know she ever even met him?

Is that why she immediately decided to kill herself when she thought Rory died because a world where he’s dead and not with her can’t be the real one? In the episode called “Amy’s choice” where she literally chooses him?

Is that why she risked it all and decided to get Weeping Angeled without knowing where she would end up, just because there was the littlest chance she would be reunited with Rory?

How do you think the modern who doctors would react to wearing or one of their companions help them putting on sunscreen? O_O would they hate it?… >_>

Oh the Doctor does NOT like sunscreen at all- hates the texture of it!

...Unfortunately for them, though, Timelords are not immune to the sun. Beach days tend to start with alot of wrestling to put sunscreen on the Doctor, much to their dismay... xD

Usually takes a few rounds of wrestling, hissing, growling, empty threats, until they're allowed to be released outside to eat sand to their hearts content xD

Which is a somewhat, (relatively), easy feat for Rose, Yaz, Steven, Jamie, Ace, and Mel with their tiny Doctors.

...Charley, Peri, Sarah, Rory, Amy, Fitz, Rogue, and Belinda basically gotta wrestle down kaijus. Very, very mardy kaijus. 😭

Amy Pond is such a deeply funny character to me when it comes to romance. She apparently had not said "I love you" to her husband until they were already engaged. People think she doesn't care about him but every time he died long enough for her to have a full reaction she killed herself in response. She's never expressed an emotion normally in her LIFE

Just a little head’s up to my fellow hayffie shippers, but it seems like there’s an anon or several anons who are lurking in people’s ask boxes trying to pit us against each other within the hayffie fandom itself by saying stuff like “This [insert URL] hates you” or “that person is trash-talking you behind your back”.

I’ve gotten several weird anons lately myself urging me to gossip about others in the fandom - asks I’ve ignored - and today it’s escalated into them pointing fingers saying that I am trash-talking one of my mutuals behind their back. Usually I ignore this kind of bullshit because “don’t feed the trolls” but this time I wanted to bring it into the light because:

1. It’s not true and

2. This is really hurting people quietly and I hate for people to be agonizing, getting paranoid and leaving the fandom because they think that their mutuals secretly hates them. NOT TRUE! It’s just trolls trying to create cracks in the fandom from within because they see how united we are.

So if you’re getting anons telling you that I hate you or that I’m spreading lies about you, that is NOT true, and feel free to reach out to me via a message.

If it gets bad enough maybe we can report it to Tumblr Staff. Anon is a veil, not a brick wall. I certainly will, unless they stop harassing people.
