“Yeah, that’s understandable.” Amos clearly didn’t want to linger on the topic, and Tilden was more than happy to oblige, letting his tone shift from somber to teasing, “You missed a couple practices? Well, this is my chance to swoop in and take your spot on the team- hope you don’t take it personally, mate.” Never mind that Tilden was absolutely awful at flying and Amos knew it. “I’ve been alright. The show and apothecary keep me busy.”
Amos was glad when Tilden didn’t try to push it as so many other people would. He laughed shaking his head, “Well too bad mate, it’s too late now. You’re late with the swooping, I already have my spot back. Not to mention how you playing would definitely be the end of the team.” He nodded, “Yeah? That’s great. What did I miss on the show?”
