I love three year olds because they’ll never say it to your face but it’s clear in every fibre of their being that they’re certain that their communications skills are perfect, and any adults who can’t understand what they want are just a little bit stupid.
Oh to have the confidence of a 3 year old insisting they’re called “pig newtons”
does twitter user chaddington know that i have thought about "mine supply of cheese whales" sporadically for the last TWO YEARS
The difference between me and the average tumblr user is that I grind my own beans from a brand so pricey that it ends up being 5% of my grocery spending every year and is driving me into credit card debt. A warning to all: you can only go up in quality with coffee, never back down. Be mindful when treating yourself to a nicer bean.
This is the realest fucking post any of us here can learn from today
Normalize that.
I know this is hard for a lot of Christians to accept, but to non-Christians in minorities which Christianity has targeted for conversion...
Christians are the boogeyman.
And not without reason. Because Christians steal children, and if they come back at all, they come back changed.
If they come back.
So our children are told when we're growing up...
Behave in public, or the Christians will come and massacre us all!
Misbehaving children are taken by Christians and made into them!
And between residential schools, and forced baptisms, and adoptions of orphans, and on and on and on...
It's a very real fear with a lot of precedent.
Because Christians steal children.
Behave in public,
or the Christians will come and
massacre us all!
Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Well, my activity feed is about to become very exciting.
i enjoy my alone time a little too much sometimes

Do you know how hard it is to live with a cat that has the intelligence level of literally like a 3 year old but the pure chaos of a high ranking demon?
He’s learned to open the lazy Susan and won’t stop clawing open the flour and rolling in it like a little chinchilla
Criminal charges
Hey hey hey HEY
He’s been CRAWLING INTO THE BOTTOM CABINETS to TEAR OPEN THE INSTANT POTATOES and EAT BAGS AND BAGS OF THEM I’m livid but also impressed.
Do you have anything with that kind of texture that he can safely play with? This sounds like an understimulation issue.
He’s not playing with it
He’s eating it.
I can tell because the bags are nearly empty except for a few small clumps.
I knew he loves mashed potatoes. I just didn’t know the extent he’d go to to get them.
We had him tested and in the course of that vet visit he stole
6 tips
3 of the ear light cover things
Our other cats collar
the ear bud of the vets stethoscope
several hearts
a plastic glove
the vet techs hair tie
Also yeah he’s fine he just likes to steal
Not guilty by reason of deficiency of other people’s stuff
This is his ledge
His ledge is taller then my husband who is 6’2”
I am 5’5”
I have to get the step ladder out once a week and see what Orange Sherbert has taken to his ledge for safe keeping. It’s usually the remote.
Narratively speaking, ending this saga with the reveal that his name is Orange Sherbert was a masterstroke.

this was a great read. “Laziness Does Not Exist” by Devon Price
getting back into lotr is like. i believe in the power of choosing to do good even when you don’t feel like you’re good. the power of healing instead of hurting even if healing hurts more than hurting. the power of being unable to heal and of finding relief in the unknown. i want to be kinder. i want to be better. i want to be gentle and unburdened again but i have to walk on and on. does any of this have meaning? why of course even if you can’t remember or find the meaning of it in this very instance. it’s okay. you can cry. it’s okay. you did your best. what does it mean to be a good person? i want to believe that i can change and change the course of things even if i’m insignificant in the grand scheme of things. no one is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. i would walk with you to the end of the world and beyond to the next world too and the one after that. don’t leave me behind. i love you. i love you and i must leave you but i will always remember you. i love you. until our roads converge once more, be happy and eat well. thank you for following me to the end, i’ll see you again after the last star falls.
two small indie bands on two different stages facing each other. first band plays their own original music but the band across from them plays it all backwards perfectly.
if you stand at the exact midpoint between the stages all you hear is silence
you were there
okay i’m curious bc my parents were relatively young having me but idk what age difference is “normal” between parents and kids as i’ve met people with plenty of variations. so if you want, reblog this and tag (don’t comment) how old your parents were when they had you. my mom was 25 and my dad was 21.
