you’re laughing. i told you a joke and you’re laughing. i love you
Black Swan (2010) || Spongebob Squarepants (1999-)
me when we start eating billionaires and i have to kill gomez addams
Gomez and Morticia, telling us where they store the spare guillotines so we can go after Jeff Bezos after we finish with them.
Look, I know we don't want to admit that our heroes can be flawed, but this isn't just people baselessly picking a rich person and saying they're a billionaire.
Don't hold back. Gomez will respect the revolutionary fire burning in your heart!
The Addams would bring the guillotines for the other billionaires, give away literally all their money and then still ASK for executions because it’s been so long since they had a good beheading in the family
honestly, you'd break his heart if you said you WEREN'T planning on sticking his head in a guillotine. morticia, too. they'd be upset at the special treatment, too, but mostly they really want to be executed gruesomely as they stare lovingly into each other's eyes as their heads are separated from their bodies, and we need to respect that.
the horrors may be beyond my comprehension but they are not beyond my insatiable lust. come here and kiss me you terrifying abomination.
oh did i ever tell you all about the theory i have about kaisa and tildy and that kaisa is Very Not like 50 (cuz rhe book is nearly 30 years lent and she knew the whole time) but more like 30 odd and it may or may not include adoption under the guise of student
I don’t think I did so I’m gonna ramble about it anyways
The committe of three seemed to imply Kaisa wouldn’t know who borrowed the book without heavy research “I assume your arrival indicats that at long last you’ll reshelve the missing book” and then later says about “I take it you actually know who has the book” but then Kaisa later says “I’ve known full well who has the book all this time”. It’s a bIT of a stretch but especially since she had the card and was showing it to them, and it’d been so long, it seems to me that, yeah, they didn’t know who checked it out and that Kaisa wouldn’t either
Which leads me to believe that Kaisa wasn’t the librarian when the book was borrowed.
So how did Kaisa know all that time who had the book??? Behold, crack theory time - Tildy took her in as an orphan (or as a kid at least), and thatswhy she was her student and why it meant so much to Kaisa to not let her down about not being the witch she trained her to be. Not only is it letting down her teacher, but the one parental figure she had.
So the book was borrowed when she was a kid, and she knows of it. Later down the line she’s grown up and is the Keeper Of the Books/the librarian, so now it is her responsibility to reshelve the book. The committee of three, I don’t remmeber if it’s implied if they know that Kaisa was Tildy’s student or not, but they seem to assume Kaisa does not know and would need to look into it deeply to find out who has the book to reshelve it
So from this I propose she’s early 30s like Johanna, and this is why, despite not being the Keeper Of the Books for all the time the book was checked out/being the keeper WHEN it was checked out, why she knew all this time that Tildy had the book.
becuase like rt she doesnt look nor act like shes like 50 like cmon- (and i just love the idea of parental Tildy adopting her and taking her in effectively)

Aww, lookit im, Titivillus, patron demon of scribes, has all the pokes full of naughtiness (and tpyos)
Okay everyone loves to dunk on Edmund for selling his siblings out for Turkish delight specifically but consider:
1. He’s been living on WWII sugar rations
2. Lokum is a sweet that lots of people eat and enjoy, it’s just not part of western confectionary, and something about people making fun of it rubs me the wrong way
3. Selling out your siblings for candy is a bad call no matter what the candy is
4. doesn’t it seem like cheating to use magically addictive candy on a preteen anyway
This. The Turkish delight and hot cocoa the Witch gave Edmund were enchanted. She basically put a spell on him.
No one ever mentions how Mr Tumnus gained Lucy’s trust exactly the same way. I mean, he got her with tea and toast and sardines, but only because he didn’t have magic food and an entire kingdom to bribe her with. AND SHE FELL FOR IT. SHE FELL FOR THE SARDINES. The Pevensie children have a very specific m.o. when it comes to trusting strangers, that’s all I’m saying
That specific MO is called “We’ve been living on war rations for ages and some actual nice food sounds really fucking good, actually”.
Edmund isn’t even a preteen he’s eight years old.
when I was 8 years old I would have sold my brother out for a Hershey’s kiss and I had practically unlimited access to those, just sayin.
Every time this post starts going around again I am forcibly reminded that I am an only child.
