“I might as well just give up on a peaceful life and do what you suggested. Get what I can, you know?” Andrew laughed. “Well, yeah, fuck that. I’m never going back to being a kid – I want what that kid has now. Maybe I should find myself a sugar mama. I’m okay with even a sugar daddy at this point.” He said, snorting.

“Damn right he was.” Andrew nodded his head. “And he looked like the coolest mother fucker in that van as he did.” He laughed. ”Right? No responsibility, no anything. All you gotta worry about is if you can beat someone’s ass on a video game or something.”

I just want a responsibility-free life, you know?” He said with a chuckle – glad that the other was getting him so well. “Let’s go get some then, hm? For some good times? It’s on me.”

She had been sitting on the bench starring at everything and nothing all at the same time. Hands in the pockets of her coat and wind blowing her hair. She was always more fond of the summer hotness. “Although allergies are definitely a downfall of it.” She tried to laugh.

“Really? I quite like winter – and cole weather in general. The cold air sorta reminds me not to get too relaxed, you know – brings me back to my senses.” Andrew said with a sly smile, putting his hands inside of his pockets. “I can’t tolerate summer that much, frankly.”

Liam was with a well-clothed Lyra, who was adamant to walk herself, going through the park to spend some time at one of the playgrounds, so Liam hopefully could tire out the little girl and the girl could have a whole night of sleep without being troubled by night terrors. As they arrived at the playground, Lyra let go of his hand, stumbling towards the swings. “Careful, Buttercup!” Liam grinned following her, not noticing that he walked straight into someone. “Sorry.”

If there was something Andrew couldn’t tolerate at all, it was kids – and the fact that one of them just bumped into him wasn’t being helpful. “No problem at all.” Andrew said with a barely hearable voice, rolling his eyes. “Yours, huh? How old is she?”

So it won’t just be some dude sitting there waxing poetic about how sad he is for two hours.” He wrinkled his nose. “…He’ll sing about it in Greek probably.” 

“I say it looks a bit forced. Are you sure this is one of your stronger qualities?” Andrew asked with is regular i’m-bored-of-everything tone. “If I were, I’d stick to the vocal performance part of the show – unless you wanna practice that move non-stop until the show.” He said, stuffing his food inside of his mouth. “Knowing you, though, you’d probably master it in no time.”

She’d been working towards the exhibition at the art gallery for a while now, and now that it was finally opening night. Time to walk around, try to listen in on other people’s conversations about her art. Or about the art of some of her fellow artists working the exhibition. After all, it wasn’t just her work shown here. Honestly, the whole show was getting slightly boring and no one seemed to realise she was actually the artist, so she figured she’d just poke the bear a little. “ It’s kind of crap, this thing, right? ” Robin wondered out loud, hoping someone would take the bait and actually talk about her paintings. 

“It’s...” Adrew stopped – he wasn’t paying attention to the pieces at all. “I’m just here for the free drinks to be honest. But when I look at these, it doesn’t wanna make me throw up so it can’t be that bad I assume?” He said, letting out a laugh. “Why didn’t you like it, though?” He asked, looking at the paiting she was referring to.

Squinting his eyes, Mateo tried not to take offence but he really wasn’t that big of a Marvel fan so it was hard. “Yo, anybody ever tell you, you look a hell of a lot like Ryan Rynolds?”

“I’m just joking. Your work is amazing and I’ve always been more of a DC fan, to be honest.” Andrew laughed. It was true — DC had darker and deeper characters compared to Marvel and that was what Andrew enjoyed reading. “Yeah, I heard that a few times. But it was also always follwed by a ‘ —but you look better than him’. “

Sure, he could have certainly called the cops and it would have all been solved just by showing a proof of residence, but this seemed a lot less complicated and shorter. “That sucks for you. “You’re not making this any easier.” Andrew laughed. He was pretty sure that the girl wasn’t lying and it was actually her apartment but well, it was better safe than sorry. “Wong wong. Wrong answer. He gave me another name.” Andrew pouted, giving the a girl. ”I’m joking.” He rolled his eyes, chuckling. “Worried? Wow – good neighborhod indeed died, huh?” He shook his head in disapproval with a light smirk on his face. ”Were you really? Because these six-packs either need a fridge to remain cold– or the company of two.” He laughed.

I mean, if you were gonna be the Jigsaw guy, I feel like you’d have to be way more motivated than spending a weekend on the couch while ordering takeout and marathoning daytime television.” A grin broke across her features as she shook her head. At his apology, Nora chuckled lightly and raised her hands in a surrendering gesture. “I’m not gonna argue on that point. For all I know, you’re probably a lot of people’s favorite professor. That’s one lie you could get away with. – But, god, no! I’m not going do anything creepy. Like, cross my heart, hope to die, and all that kind of stuff. Torture isn’t my gig. The worst I’ll do is ask you a million and one questions, so I hope you can at least handle that.”

“Unless it’s a trick to make you believe otherwise.” Andrew smirked, followed by a laugh. “Wow – that’s just been a great way to destroy all the trust I’ve been trying to build, hasn’t it?” He chuckled. “A lot of people’s favorite professor. That’s what my asylum mates say.” He said with a wicked grin, shaking his head with a smile on his face at how he’d been stamped as a fake professor “Honestly, though, if that was a real compliment - unlike all the stuff I’m telling you - thank you. I’m really trying to go really chill on my students - giving them advices about running from responsibilities and stuff.” He joked, laughing. “I don’t know if I can trust you. You look like someone who can perform a total sneak attack.” Andrew gave her suspicious look, but he was just messing with her. “Always fear the smart ones.”
