I’ve been cosplaying for fun since 2005, with 15 years of cosplays featured in Canadian conventions like Anime North and Fan Expo, as well as a few US convention like Colossalcon in Sandusky, Dragoncon in Atlanta, and Katsucon in Maryland. I’ve never once considered myself a pro, but take pride in the small steps I’ve taken over the years to push the boundaries of my skills, whether it be on my own costumes or commissions for my friends and partners. I love this hobby, is an integral part of who I am, and though this blog has largely been about celebrating the highest quality work from other cosplayers I come across on Tumblr, after a the longest con dry spell I think any of us have ever been through with the void year that is 2020, it was really nice to reflect on 15 years of some of the most fun I’ve had in my life being a big kid with my friends and loved ones. Cheers to another 15 years of never growing up!
