the invention of the car really decreased the quality of journeys one could take. going to the farmers market couldve been days of adventure but now i just do it in a jiffy and with a disturbing lack of lingering. shaking my head with a somber expression. i should be able to disappear for a while with a simple task. i should get a horse.
