i hate to have to address this but I do not like or wish to have anyone who uses the proship label on my account, in that same vein, i do not want anybody who uses the anti label on my account. in my experience both people who insist on pushing and upholding these labels are disgustingly obnoxious and equally as vile when it comes to treating victims and otherwise "taboo" or unsavory topics.

i myself am a victim of rape, CSA, I am a victim of incestuous abuse. I have experienced intense racial trauma throughout my upbringing. I am GOING to portray these things on my account. It is absolutely a way for me to cope. I do not consider people who use "proshipping" as a way to cope as disgusting or immoral, as it is something that all victims of anything will do, one way or another, if not replicated through art, then by some other means. this still doesn't mean that this method is entirely healthy and safe. it can absolutely be harmful.

TLDR: i hold intense boiling vitriol for proshippers and likewise, but in that same vein of the internet antis have come to a tie with that group. and my stance is. i think it depends.

Unfortunately, as a civilian on the other side of the world, there's not much I can do beyond raising my voice online and in the streets. But I know that won't change much. Even if every street is filled with the colors of the Palestinian flag, even if every university flies it, even if thousands of people march in every city around the world, if the powerful nations remain indifferent, nothing will change.

1. People die in wars. That’s just the reality of what a war is. People dying in war isn’t genocide.

2. Israel isn’t an ethnostate. 30% of the population are Palestinian-Israeli citizens, and being Christian or Muslim gives you the same rights as everyone else. Gaza and Palestine, however ARE examples of ethnostates because they are EXCLUSIVELY Arab and being anything else is illegal.

3. Hamas at the instigators here. They broke a ceasefire agreement and slaughtered 1,200 Jews in the worst case of ethnic clensing since the Holocaust. Hamas is also responsible for their civilians dying by refusing to let them leave areas that are targeted, or by building their bases under vital points like hospitals and schools. Incidentally, I don’t know if you know this or not but if a terrorist operates under a hospital, that hospital is no longer protected by international rules of war. That’s intentional by Hamas because it allows them to claim Israel is evil for bombing a hospital and not, you know, the fact that they intentionally put the hospital lives at risk for their propaganda.

4. Israel has always had long-standing Jewish origins. As in the oldest buildings and artifacts found in Israel date back to before the Saudi’s invaded the land in the 4th century. Israel actually represents the biggest and best example of DECOLONIZATION by giving the land BACK to the Jews after the Ottoman Empire was kicked out by the British.

5. Palestine was the name for Jews prior to the creation of Israel. If you look at “Palestinian” information prior to the 1940’s you’ll noticed that all of it is written in Hebrew, not Arabic. When Israel was founded and the Arabs displaced, they called themselves Palestinians and waged war on Israel saying they would finish “what Hitler started.” They immediately LOST. Palestine as you know it today is not real.

6. You can acknowledge all of these things AND still be upset at the way Israel and Netanyahu have handled things. Netanyahu in particular needs to be removed from office and there are a lot of protests going on in Israel with that purpose in mind.

7. Incidentally, Hamas is the ones starving the Gazan and Palestinian people. They are stealing the aid being sent in and selling it back to their people at inflated prices. The starvation happening IS REAL, but the cause of it is solely on Hamas’s shoulders.

8. If you want peace you should be advocating for the removal of Hamas, a ceasefire, the return of the October 7th hostages, the removal of Netanyahu, and a two state solution. <- THAT is the correct order of operations needed to establish peace.
