Kouichi is a ‘copy-cat’

when he isn’t following his brother, he’s people watching; studying faces, expressions, gestures, interactions… so he can mirror them which manipulates people into getting what he wants without directly asking

he uses other peoples expressions and faces as a mask over his own - copying to make them happy (as studies show mimicking other’s gestures and/or speech patterns makes them feel more friendly towards you) since his biggest fear is being left alone
