That awkward moment when your [Rosieâs]Â dreams give you an actual fic idea and doesnât let you live afterwards? Yep, thatâs what happened. This is an AU post the events of Supposed To Be. Get prepared to see Jaela Abdi in another universe with the same amount of baggage (R: Poor Jaela :( C: lmao Iâm a bitch to her) but in this one, sheâs facing her biggest challenge: another TRR MC who doesnât back down from a fight.
Well⊠this is not your ordinary crossover. Our girls Jaela and Kimiko donât start off being the best of friends. Theyâre actually the complete opposite.

Duchess Jaela Abdi-Walker of Valtoria is left with no other choice but to put up with the new member of the Royal Council. The only problem is⊠sheâs the Kingâs new leading lady.

Kimiko glared at Jaela as she set down her glass. âMmm. So, I have a few questions for you, Jaela.â
âWhat is this? 20 questions?â She said sarcastically, not giving into the girlâs antics.
Kimiko glared at her again then took another long sip of her wine, practically finishing it. âYou know⊠I didnât take you as a person who would fuck around with two men at once.â
Jaelaâs eyes widened and she looked up from her phone instantly. âExcuse me?!â Jaela snapped, almost yelling. She leaned forward in her chair, on the edge of losing her temper with the woman in front of her. âYou shouldnât even know about that. Itâs none of your business!â
Kimiko raised an eyebrow, âIs it not? Heâs my boyfriend and it seems like he still takes a liking to you!â She said, her voice just above a whisper and was just as agitated as Jaela was. The Duchess made a sound of realization as she finally understood Kimikoâs hostility.
âOh, are you jealous you couldnât be his first? That Iâll always be his first love⊠his only true queen?â She taunted and watched Kimikoâs stern and stoic expression crumble into complete and utter disgust and anger. Gotcha. âDonât worry, Iâm pretty sure you canât taste me on hisââ
The sound of clattering utensils silenced the room. Kimiko was now on her feet and her face was completely flushed⊠with anger and slight embarrassment. She looked around when she noticed everyone staring at her. Kimiko cleared her throat, âI apologize for making such a loud sound. Excuse me,â she said as she shot Jaela a disgusted look before storming out of the dining room.
