Theory that Jax's behavior is similar to John from Unordinary
First off both are broken
Jax likes to bully others to cope from Abstracting
John beats the Wellston students half to death cause of his past
thinking back on ep 6 when Jax said to Pomni that they're all his playthings to use and he doesn't care about anyone.
Also when John was on a rampage he beat up the Wellston students brutally, nothing could get through to him and wanted all of them to go through the same thing that he went through in New Bostin.
Jax definitely cares but hides it because he doesn't want Pomni anyone else to abstract like what happened with Ribbit.
John also enrolled as a cripple so he couldn't revert back to his old habits in New Bostin.
I know John has redeemed himself so Jax reminds me a lot about John.
hopefully Pomni can reach out to Jax when he's on his breaking point like Seraphina did to snap John out of his rampage.
my guess is when Jax will start abstracting or on the verge Pomni might try to reach out or Jax will continue to push her away.
yup I know Jax won't be redeemable but maybe character development.
