In Shrek 2, the king tells his wife that he has an "old crusade wound acting up" implying the existence of both the catholic church and islam in the shrek universe

Well that can be disproven given that a crusade can technically be any religion. There may be a religion in the Shrek universe that has the same righteous entitlement as the Catholic Church, but there is no proof that the Catholic Church actually exists.

The word "crusade" comes from the French "croisée" which means "to be marked by the Cross", the most important symbol in Christendom. Now we could perhaps entertain the possibility that there is another, different religion in the Shrek universe that considers the cross to be a holy symbol, but the evidence for the existence of Catholicism in Shrek 2 does not stop there.

Later in the movie, Puss states that he was once the most renowned thief in Santiago de Compostela. This is a city in Spain named after St. James (Santo Iago) and contains the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Catholicism since the early Middle Ages.

I've had conversations about whether people spreading your particular flavour of bullshit are deeply stupid or if you know exactly what you're doing and are relying on other people's stupidity. When JKR said "I've ignored porn tweeted at children" she did not mean that she ignored it across the board. AS SHE SAID, she reported and blocked every instance, but didn't respond, because that would call attention to the tweets and more children would see them. Do you understand that? Is that too complicated for you?

When Juan Mac, the actual piece of shit who got what he deserved, made his tweet using JKR's words out of context, it implied that JKR did nothing about the obscene tweets trans rights activists bombarded her tweets for children with. And that's a lie. It's a defamatory lie. So she had every right to sue him. I hope he was scared out of his mind. I hope she terrified him. He deserved to feel like crap, because he did something morally wrong.

Just like you're doing something morally wrong. You're spreading falsehoods, just like he did. Again, I'm not sure if it's because you're an idiot or if you're intentionally malicious, but I don't care.

You and your fellow TRAs don't give a fuck about children being bombarded with porn. You're using the situation, twisting words and what happened, to defame JKR. And it's pathetic. You're pathetic. You're so full of irrational hate that your moral compass has gone haywire.

The police wanted to investigate one of these vandalisms as a "hate crime" Yet when a guy in Thunderbay Ontario threw a trailer hitch at a Native Woman and shouted "Got One", (the trailer hitch killed her btw) He only received 8 years.

The judge determined the murder of this woman "Manslaughter" and refused to call it a hate crime. Since "he didn't mean to kill her" when the threw something like this at her:

Thunderbay has a lot of racisms towards Natives by the way, to the point were the entire police force was suspended on suspicions of racism because they refused to investigate the murders of first nations people.

But native people painting a building red? Oh man, that's totally a hate crime.

Honestly in terms of sets? Very little of the Prequels were CGI. Lucas actively attempted to cultivate the idea that he used CGI for everything because he wanted to be perceived as cutting edge. Mustufar? That’s an actual miniature set. The poured jello over the top of neon lights to make the lava. Naboo? Also used miniatures; they used salt instead of water to make the water falls look right at that scale.

Psssst the set designer wouldn’t have assorted all those q-tips. The set designer came up with all the dimensions of how big that q-tip stadium needed to be, and made the blueprints.

The real creator would have been fabricators, set dressers, or a crying art production assistant who has been painting q-tips for two weeks straight and just really wants to go home.

Police made two demonstrations violent by charging, injuring, and arresting people at protests for police accountability and workers striking for a $1/hr pay increase. Over 30 people were arrested at the two actions, double the number of arrests of white supremacists who stormed the Capitol in DC.

The Teamster workers arrested have since all been released and are striking again.

NYPD PBA tweeted this the same day they beat and arrested people demonstrating for Black lives and for higher pay.
