The rain writes poetry on my window ☂︎⋆.°·☁︎
Autumn Landscape (1828) by Thomas Cole
memo. 1
In another life, I’m sitting on your kitchen counter watching you clean our dishes, a cloth in my hand drying the things you hand to me.
Your wrists shine with dish water as the sun dawning through the window casts a soft glow on your skin. Like a smoke trail of apple pie, your voice takes up room in the kitchen with the smooth, melodic cadence you preserve for quiet morning moments. Your voice also holds the twinge of a smile when you speak about your dream from last night; most of it you can’t recall but you remember holding my hand.
The plates clink every time I place them carelessly on the space beside me as I try to engrave this scene into my head.
i love you until i can't look at you
Preparations for the Festivities (1866) by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema
— Clementine Von Radics, from In A Dream You Saw A Way To Survive; "The Fear" (via lunamonchtuna)
It rained each time our paths entwined anew— not timid drops that kissed the windowpane, but torrents loosed from vaulted heights that flew, as if the heavens wept in love’s refrain.
So now when clouds are heavy, skies are dim, i walk the rain to find my way to him.
It rained the night our lips first met, soft witnesses, the raindrops fell in grace—each drop a hush, a whisper without name, a hush of heaven cradling time and space.
It rained again when first you said I love you, yet not in grief did heaven loose its veil—it danced, stardust twirling on every falling trail.
The sky would part to bring you home to me, and I thought, how lucky we are to be the kind of story the rain wants to tell.

u survive literally every single event in your life & still every time a new event happens you feel like this is the event that will kill you and that you will never move on from but actually you will continue to survive like you always have bc u have a 100% win rate of surviving events. btw
