Don’t forget ColourLovers, either! It’s a social media-esque site where you can browse tons of palettes and share your own.

You can browse the most popular ones or search for certain colors, themes, and even specific hex codes!

When you find one you like, you can download a wallpaper swatch of it and also select the specific colors it uses to look at more palettes that use those same ones.

ColourLovers is my go-to for when I’m having trouble coming up with a color scheme! It’s also been around for over a decade, so there’s plenty to browse through.

Felt like doing some sketches of how I approach acting for storyboarding.  One of the things that I found out when I first started boarding was that acting and drawing expressions is also an important part of storyboarding.  I struggled a lot with expressions early on, but the biggest thing that helped me was doing expression studies, which taught me the subtleties of an expression as well as how a person expresses an emotion.  In addition nowadays when I approach acting in boards I go by the emotion and feeling of the character, and try to get into their head of where they are in the story.  I will usually act out the facial expression I’m trying to capture so I can get that emotion in the drawing.
