Hi everyone!!! I felt inspired and decided to start a Sasunaru Manhwa-Doujin with multiple chapters set in a Modern Religious-Thriller AU.❤️

-This is a non-profit fan work. Naruto, Boruto and all its characters belong to Masashi Kishimoto, Mikio Ikemoto and Shueisha. This AU story and specific character designs are created by me for fan entertainment purposes only. The religious titles, characters/figures and settings are used as fictional archetypes for storytelling only. The religious characters are originals and doesn’t exist.
It was inspired from “The Devil’s Advocate” and “Lucifer TV”. But it is going to be totally different!!
I don’t know when I will start this project and how often will update but I really am excited with this idea!! I will probably update this in AO3 and here!!

The Main Characters:
-Naruto Uzumaki (Priest):
At 27, Naruto is one of the Vatican’s most effective exorcists, but his origin is shrouded in darkness. Born from a horrific satanic ritual, he was meant to cause destruction. He carries a powerful, fox-like beast known as the Kyubi within him. In the beginning, he was ignored and feared by everyone at the Vatican. However, a low-ranking priest and exorcist named Iruka taught him about honesty and love. He then decided to become the best exorcist and, one day, get rid of the Kyubi. However, Naruto defied his destiny and instead of a constant struggle for control, he befriended the entity by accepting his own shadows. They now coexist in a unique partnership, and the demon has even entrusted Naruto with his true name, Kurama.
He still dreams of becoming the Chief Exorcist to show the Church that a “cursed child” can be whoever he decides to be and finally be accepted by everyone.
He wears a heavy, floor-length Vatican exorcist uniform with a clerical collar. He only wears this while at the Vatican. However, he prefers casual clothes when on missions, though he always keeps the collar on.
-Sasuke Uchiha (Fallen Angel):
While he appears to be a man in his late-twenties, Sasuke is an ancient Fallen Angel, one of the originals who fell alongside Lucifer after his brother, the Archangel Itachi, decided to kill their entire family, and Sasuke sought revenge. Once he thought he had killed Itachi, he discovered the “truth”, Itachi was actually being used by Heaven to follow His “Great Plan”. Since then, Sasuke has hated God, the angels, the Church, and everything related to Heaven. He is incredibly powerful, an aristocrat, and he is shrouded in mystery. In the chaotic world of L.A., he disguises himself as the brilliant CEO of “Uchiha & Associates”, an elite legal firm that manipulates the city's power from the shadows.
He wants to make heaven undesirable, to destroy it for good. He used to serve under Orochimaru, a powerful demon who was once an archangel. But once Sasuke got what he wanted, he killed him. However, it seems the demon left a piece of his essence behind, possessed another human, and survived.
Sasuke forged his own plan, and other demons, fallen angels and satanic humans followed him to form Team Taka. Lucifer is aware of this and is truly proud of him. Nevertheless, he still tells Sasuke to be careful, as he considers him pure and easily influenced by others, he doesn't want to lose his most powerful demon after having lost the others when they and the demonic beasts were exorcised and sealed by the Vatican.
He wears a bespoke, midnight-black three-piece suit and tight-fitting black leather gloves that he never removes. He likes to wear religious accessories, like cross earrings, to mock God.
The story takes place in L.A. While Sasuke rules the upper echelons of the city from his glass office, the supernatural underworld gathers at "The Infinite Tsukuyomi." This exclusive, legendary club was owned by his uncle Obito Uchiha, a demon who looked after him when he was lost in The Void, before he got exorcised. Now he got to look after it against his will since he is the last demon of his lineage in L.A. The club serves as neutral ground for fallen grace, rising demons, angels (not anymore) and obnoxious humans.
Setting in L.A. and the Vatican:

Plot:
Naruto is sent to L.A. on a mission by the cryptic Cardinal Danzo to investigate a "Divine threat”. He expects to find a monster to exorcise, but instead, he finds Sasuke.
Sasuke is fascinated by this priest with a demon's heart who doesn't give into darkness. What starts as a mission quickly devolves into a deadly game of cat and mouse. Forced into an uneasy alliance to uncover a conspiracy within the Church, they must navigate a world where the lines between “Good and Evil” are blurred.

Danzo loathed the designation. However, because the Pope himself had blessed Tsunade’s decree, the High Elder was forced into a bitter silence.
As Chief Exorcist, Tsunade had always watched over Naruto with a mother’s ferocity, especially after the martyrdom of his master, Jiraiya. She carried the blood of the most revered saint in history, Hashirama, the man who once cast down one of the most powerful Demon Prince after Lucifer, Madara. After this, he decided to leave his position in the Vatican and the Church and move to Cinque Terre, where he met and married a respected noblewoman, Mito Uzumaki who was related to Naruto, and had kids.
Tsunade proved herself a worthy successor to that legacy and despite Danzo’s higher ecclesiastical rank…
...and being a woman, something Danzo is particularly bitter about, since he believes women shouldn't hold such positions to him, they are creatures born of evil, incapable of handling God's grace.
He found himself powerless, both Tsunade’s conviction and Naruto’s unexpected soft heart had won the deep affection of the Holy See.
When Danzo protested the "sacrilege" of harboring a demon, the Pope Lychinus VII, simply offered a calm, weathering smile:
-"Times change, Danzo, and we must change with them. We cannot remain stagnant in old fears. Our Savior taught us the power of redemption, if the Kyubi chooses to reject its own malevolent nature, then we shall welcome that grace. This is but another thread in God’s Great Plan, so be it.”
