Hearing about drama involving a large-ish name tumblr user is always interesting because, like, I’m curious, but hardly ever do people actually mention what it was they did. So onto the google we go, looking it up, and usually the first thing is someone going ‘Oh, they did this, this, and this.’

And because people on tumblr are so singularly insane, invariably that leads to a situation of “Well, how are we defining [x], [y], and [z]? Like, you’re saying they’re a paedophile, do we mean that they groomed and tried to solicit sex from a minor, or do we mean that they reblogged a G-rated romance fic of some fictional seventeen year olds? You say they doxxed someone, but do you mean they actually published someone’s real name, address, or other personal details, or do you mean they linked to someone’s tumblr and provided no other identifying details? You say they convinced minors to send them money, but do you mean they actually tried to convince minors to send them money, or do you mean they have a ko-fi linked on their account, and also some parents evidently weren’t keeping a close enough eye on their children?”

Like, those examples are taken straight from real life, because when I went looking for information about what people were vaguely alluding to by going ‘oh, this user is terrible, they’re the worst,’ I found the original callout post, and it was ridiculous. In every case, it was the most mild, innocuous things framed in the most dramatic, overwrought way.

Need everyone to know J and J was one of those groups that argued that talcum powder (which included aesbestos) wasn’t hurting anyone.

(If you’re sitting there like hey wasn’t talcum powder for babies?  yes it was. There was an entire litigation about them arguing that actually using talcum powder for babies which included asbestos wasn’t bad.If you’re sitting there going hey wow wouldn’t that include babies from decades ago who are now adults with sever cancer??? YUP YEAH YOUR’RE FUCKING CORRECT).

J&J also has a class action lawsuit against them for their shampoo brand OGX which is arguing that many shampoos and conditioners from that brand contain formaldehyde, which causes cancer when exposed to water. Which is a vital step in showering. So I just changed shampoo brands entirely and will do my best to avoid J&J products because this is terrifying

Okay I love the "I'm vaccinated and ready to party this summer" attitude, but do yous realize you can still transmit the virus to people who are not vaccinated. The vaccine aims to prevent severe symptoms and death, it does not stop transmission. Even if youre vaccinated, you can still catch covid—your case will just be mild or asymptomatic, and you can get other people sick, who may be hospitalized or die if they're not fully vaccinated. So chill out, keep wearing your masks and social distancing. If you don't want to cause you're bored or lonely—SUCK. IT. UP.

Just cut all the ties ya know ? Get stuck at home where you are depressed and anxious all the time. Then get a crush on one of your best friends.. ask her out and have her say yes only to tell you no later and have her date one of your friends. Then develope a crush on your person that you tell everything too, get into a limbo of not knowing if your dating, have them tell you they also still like one of your friends. And then just feel lonely and feel like you have no one to talk. It’s a great time I totally recommend it for anyone with terrible mental health
