He leans his head back against the top of the couch to look up at him where he’s stood just hovering just looking at him. and eddie keeps his voice pretty quiet and gentle and says. Well. I think we’re in love with each other. Buck keeps looking at him like he’s crazy. Eddie says you and me. Buck looks as him like he’s insane. Eddie says we’re in love. Buck looks kind of angry. And then like he’s going to cry. He sits back down. Are you fucking with me? Eddie says obviously not. We’re in love. aren’t we? And buck. Kind of crying now. Eddie puts his hand to his cheek. You cave and you give up your housing situation to help him, you move into his house and you let him go. You let him go because you love him that much.

And he looks at you like you set his world on fire and built it back anew, and you hope he looks through the rearview as he drives away, hoping he'll miss you half as much as you'll miss him.
