You probably already explained this in a previous post but just curious.

ooo tysm! no worries i dont think i've talked about that here before! here's a very long answer lol

29. Are kids in the cards in their future? Whether yes or no or it's complicated, explain.

oh yeah no definitely not gksdsjngsdgd, one of the things that carries through from myself to the vast majority of ocs is a sort of...aversion to the idea of raising children. i have a few character exceptions, but ellor isnt one of them

but, for in character reasons why thats the case, i talked about this privately with some friends a while back and i still have the thoughts there so i'll grab em!

like i think for rex part of it is like...whilst he's used to being a captain and authority figure for other clones, that’s very different than being a dad. i think with yknow, the personhood thing (his issues with letting himself be a person and not just a tool) he's kinda always going to be working on a bit, the idea of a kid freaks him out a little. whilst he is a protective and caring person and does like to mentor i think he'd always worry a bit if he was being soft enough or not. when you were raised to be a tool of violence and u took that to heart for some time its always going to be a doubt at the back of your head. yknow, 'what if i get too soldier on the kid?'

then for ellor i think part of it is like...whilst he finds that he also likes teaching in a sense too, i just don’t think its something he's been particularly interested in? like ofc firstly as a jedi he really hasnt thought about it, whilst jedi to technically raise children its VERY communally until the kid grows into a teen and becomes a padawan. which at that point, yes ur still mentoring a kid, but an older one with different trials and obstacles compared to like. a literal baby.

and think if the idea was brought to him he'd think about how well like...whilst he likes jaden and ahsoka's company, those are teenagers, and whilst i think he thinks kids are sweet and charming, the idea of raising one specifically is a sort of like 'oh uh? huh? hmmm...uhh..' bc like. he's aware it'd be a large, lifelong commitment, and how seriously one must think about it. like i think he knows he'd not really know how to deal with temper tantrums, let alone other things that come with kid raising. then i imagine there's some parental hang ups with knowing how things must have been with his bio parents (dathomirian and all that)

then also for both of them i think there's this sort of like....on their most kid considering days, even then they'd feel unsure, and that in itself would be a sign to not do it. no need to bring a child under the wing of unsure parents who could regret the decision, right? that seems like a risky thing to do, AND a risky thing to do when those two parents, at this point in time, would be part of a rebel alliance lol.

like i think on those days, even as they might think for a moment that it could be nice, maybe. to nurture and care for another person together, they know they have their own hang ups, and they know this isn’t really the life for it, and that’s okay. there's a whole galaxy out there to experience, and maybe there will be a kid or two in the rebellion that they can help with occasionally, in that communal setting that frankly, both of them are far more used to. and instead, maybe they'll keep some little space geckos or something together. that'd be fun

i think that’s part of it. both of them like doing things together, just the two of them. but the idea of raising children that way feels weird and foreign to them (and frankly they do just enjoy being around fellow adults a little more)

3. How did each realize they had feelings for the other? (I.e. the "oh no... I actually have feelings for them" moment)

Oh man. They were so slow to even recognize they had feelings for each other past the whole fuckbuddies thing. I don't know if there really is a moment, you know? A single moment that locked them in. I think both of them had a lot of little moments that just built off each other, until one day they just realized they cared for each other. But if they did have a moment, then I imagine it might look like this (Since I started their story kinda in the middle of it, neither of these moments are written down.) For Anya, it came while lying in bed, watching Crosshair dress to leave after they finished sex. Something she'd seen many times at that point, certainly nothing notable. They were probably talking, exchanging a bit of banter, and then instead of throwing back another witty retort, Crosshair shut her up with a kiss. I think for Crosshair it would have been a moment in the bar. A busy night that demanded Anya's attention on the job, yet she kept returning to him. Probably, he said some sarcastic joke, and she laughed. He watched her, pink and purple under the rave lights, loud music swallowing most of the sound, and he felt a tug in his chest.

28. What is the most casual but loving thing they do for each other without even thinking?

I was doing some drafting for the final fic in the series so this specific answer is on my mind- After Order 66, after their second reunion, they'll both have a habit of moving in to cover the other when a threat presents itself (even just an argument will trigger it). Is it the most casual thing ever?...I think for their universe, it's casual enough. They certainly don't think about it. There's also a lot of physical touch support from Crosshair. Anya does well with it, it grounds her, and once (redacted) happens, he's constantly checking on her with touch. This one is conscious, but it's because Anya has to get Crosshair's cooperation for it to work lol. She's going to help him with his tremors. As soon as she saw them, she recognized the emotional component at play, and understood how she can help (with the force).

4. What drew them to each other?

These two started as a one night stand. Neither of them thought more would come of that night, but then. More came. Crosshair found himself back in Anya's bar, and Anya found herself thrilled to see him. For Anya, he was incredibly intriguing. She's seen a lot of clones, slept with a lot too, and Crosshair isn't like any of them. The differences stood out to her, and she likely felt a sense of kinship in that. Anya's hot, and she's fun, and she didn't shy away from Crosshair's challenges. His bark and bite were welcome, without judgement or expectations, (They were both very clear from the beginning that neither wanted something more serious...until they did.) and Crosshair liked that.

19. What animals would they choose to represent each other?

Let's see...my knowledge of star wars animals is less broad, so I'll just use earth animals lol. Anya would be between a leopard and a viper for Crosshair. He's lean and nimble, able to scale trees, cliffs, and buildings alike, very reminiscent of leopard's excellent climbing abilities and their status as the smallest of the big cats. He's also got incredibly patience and timing, much like how a viper sits and waits for it's prey until the right moment to strike. Both are also incredibly lethal, which Crosshair very much is, and both are utterly captivating to watch move. Crosshair would probably pick a lion for Anya tbh. She's very social, incredibly protective of her people, and absolutely fierce. Anya is also graceful in movement, even though she downplays that part of herself. She typically moves confidently, like someone with strength and power tends to. And, of course, her long red hair certainly would remind him of a lion's mane.

Thanks for asking!! I'm not sure if I can answer most of this without spoilers for you for the story, so beware! Possible NSFW below the cut as well, knowing them.

6. What is their favorite thing about the other? (Physical/personality/habits/etc etc)

Crosshair's favorite thing about Dara is her competence. He values his own abilities, so he is impressed by the areas in which she excels and feels a kinship with her when seeing how good she is. He also eventually sees her commitment to a cause as its own kind of loyalty that is different from his own brand of loyalty, which has always been a lot more personal/relationships-based. Physically, he really likes her hair; he feels self-indulgent and like he's gotten access to a privileged kind of intimacy when he's able to touch it.

Dara's favorite thing about Crosshair is his intensity and humor. She has to maintain a lot of emotional control in her everyday life even though she has a lot of difficult feelings underneath the surface. Crosshair also has a lot of difficult feelings, and some people might view him as being closed off, but he actually expresses himself a lot (even if most of what he's expressing is ugly or angry). His directness and demanding nature is unapologetic and for Dara, as much as it also pisses her off at first, she finds that to be a bit of a relief, since so much of her life is obfuscation at the time that they meet. She also (secretly, at first) finds his sarcasm to be very funny. Physically, she finds Crosshair's irreverent sort of slouch to be annoyingly attractive.

8. What two songs would represent their respective feelings towards each other?

Crosshair is down bad for Dara. On the one hand, it's obsessive and possessive: since he meets her pretty soon after he leaves the Empire (and right after escaping after losing Mayday in this alt timeline), he's feeling a desperate need to be in control in at least one area of his life. But his feelings for this reason are also kind of all-consuming and even almost pathetic. So I might pick "Moon Song" by Phoebe Bridgers:

"So I will wait for the next time you want me/ Like a dog with a bird at your door."

Dara, on the other hand, is slightly more well-adjusted (or maybe more repressed, depending on how you look at it). She still cares for him deeply, but is a little less willing to go all-in on her feelings, because she's not willing to shift her priorities and is frightened by the idea of doing so. So I might say "First Love/Late Spring" by Mitski:

"Please, hurry, leave me, I can't breathe/Please don't say you love me."

13. What is one of the most pivotal moments when they are well within the timeline of their romantic relationship?

This would be a major spoiler for what is about to come in the next few chapters so I won't say the two that immediately come to mind. But instead I'll say something I've already published, which is when Dara makes a choice that puts her in danger because she doesn't feel like she can be honest with Crosshair and the rest of the Batch and doesn't want to get them involved. The choice she makes causes Crosshair to think that she is choosing her loyalty to someone else over him and also that she was going to leave him without saying anything. In the aftermath of this event and the blow up, Crosshair is finally able to be more honest with her about his feelings, and Dara is able to accept that sometimes she needs to make some choices for herself.

19. What animals would they choose to represent each other?

Dara would probably choose a nexu for Crosshair. He's very feline; he's lithe, powerful, and very dangerous (not to mention his superior vision), but she also has enough experience with wild animals to know how to handle them.

For Dara, Crosshair would pick some sort of owl. She knows how to fit into her surroundings well and essentially camouflage herself, but that doesn't mean she's not a dangerous predator to the right prey. She also is clever and sees the big picture easily, getting a bird's eye view of situations.

LOL I didn’t notice that! Well as for the other question, they are pure enemies to lovers trope and I threw in a few fun tropey bits (fake dating/kissing to avoid detection, etc). In terms of writing for them though it has been a lot of fun for me to think through how I can use their sex lives to mirror their psychologies and different aspects of the relationship and their insecurities at different moments. Also, importantly, both of them refuse to mention the obvious hurdles or complications in their relationship until they have major blowout fights about them, they’re super avoidant so even though they know these issues are likely to come up they just do not deal with it until the worst possible moment. So that’s a lot of fun for me to write.

9. Are there any AU ideas involving them that shake up their dynamic or story?

hmmm, i dont think so? i'm not really an au kind of guy, i very much like having one canon to work in and then making a huge fic/series exploring that specific interpretation, so i dont really have anything like that beyond sort of one off musings like 'what pokemon would they have if their world had pokemon?' and 'i wonder what colour ellors skin would be if he were human' that sort of thing! nothing structured enough to think much about dynamics

18. What does the future look like for them? Happily ever after? Doomed? Short lived but bittersweet in its end?

hopeful <3 without spoiling too much they find a place that becomes a sort of home and where they can help push back against the empire in their own ways. they both mourn anakin and everything before order 66, and struggle with the creeping trauma of the war catching up with them, but they move forward together

post empire fall i like to imagine them being the type of couple who likes to travel and hike and try new food places lol (and i tie the clones' accelerated ageing in with the chip so when rex has that out during order 66 he begins to age at a regular pace again so they have plenty of time :3)

Anya:

Initially, Anya's favorite thing about Crosshair was how well he could make her stop thinking sdfgkjdsh BUT, it does evolve further into like. He could only do that because he saw through her facade. So as they actually start to develop a relationship, there's a mix of Anya loving how he can recognize how she's feeling/thinking pretty well and a massive fear that it'll also lead to him discovering the parts of her she doesn't want him to see.

Crosshair:

Oh this is a hard one. There's a lot of stuff I think Crosshair loves about Anya, but his favorite? My first instinct is to say her capacity for kindness, how she so readily wants to help complete strangers even if it puts her at risk. Obviously Crosshair tends to be less charitable, less willing to put himself on the line, but I think he admires it, especially since Anya extended that same kindness to him when they first met.

14. If they were to describe each other in only a few words, what would each say about the other?

Oooh, this very much would depend on where in the story they are, so I'm just gonna write where they are now, with the end of Murder In A Bar just completed.
