In fact, I just finished rereading it for like the 100th time. I’ll never stop waiting for an update, even if you’ve moved on or don’t feel like finishing it. Or whatever. It’s just that good. I can tell you with certainty that I haven't moved on (is that even possible?? to move on from Rhack?), and I absolutely feel like finishing it. I love Siren Sasha.

I like to think she is more on the defensive, and has some sort of healing or shielding powers. Like a defelctive force field that she can create around, or against something. Also think she’d be kind of earthy, plant based (if that makes any sense lol). Maybe has some influence on certain flora as well.

Aw man, just read through your devil fic. That was some damn fine characterization, and the attention to body language? Ugh, that was sexy level skilled. The exactly considered word choice and paced plot completely seals the immersion, even in the face of playing with meta game concepts. Really well done b, I look forward to reading more

I love Devil You Know!! I gotta ask though how do you do the different font and colors. Like I've looked at html guides and I just don't get them :( Any advice or what your html text looks like please?

hi, thank you so much! i can totally answer this, because it took me forever to figure this out on my own.

so this is what my “chat” dialogue looks like in devil you know:

i’m actually not using html (technically); i’m using ao3′s built-in skin feature! this basically lets you set custom CSS tags that you can then use throughout your fic, if you apply the skin.

there are presets you can use– think old homestuck fics– but you can also make your own. that’s what i did. i’ll try to explain how i did it, and if you have any further questions, let me know! there are probably other good resources out there, and ao3 has a “wizard” feature, too.

so you go to your ao3 dashboard, then “skins,” and choose to create a new work skin. you’re gonna use CSS. here’s what mine looks like:

keep #workskin. the “.rhys” value is how you’re going to “refer” to this formatting command in your actual work; i’ll show you what that looks like in a minute. so replace “rhys” there with any keyword you want. after that, you’re just listing the CSS you want to use.

when you’re publishing your fic, make sure you apply this skin.

then, in the HTML for your fic, you’re going to use this HTML around the text you want to change:

so basically, that’s going to be:

“YOURKEYWORD” is whatever you put after the period in your workskin.

Sorry, I probably explained that very very badly… there are good tutorials out there, I’m sure. if you have any more questions about it i will gladly try to elaborate! but this is about the extent of my knowledge :’)

Borderlands Mini Bang 2019

Hey everyone! It’s been a minute since our last event. With Borderlands 3 getting announced and even getting released this year, we thought this would be the best way to celebrate. We’ve set up our schedule so all the wonderful creations from this event should be posted the week leading up to the BL3 release! 

The Mini Bang is similar rules-wise to the Big Bang, everything is just a bit shorter. You MUST read the rules before you sign up. You can read the general rules here and the Mini Bang rules here (make sure to read all the way to the bottom). After you’ve checked out the rules, if you decide you want to participate, you can sign up using this form! 

Sign-ups will be open from today, May 27th to Monday, June 3rd. Here’s what the rest of the timeline looks like:

August 5th Matches are sent out

September 6th Art is due

September 9th-12th Posting begins!
