I heard mention of myself! Thus, I appear! And how is my handsome painter on this glorious day?
Wait, wait, wait... hold on... you got ANOTHER handsome patron, @anthonis-van-dyck ?!
Other than @lady-lord-cornbury? Indeed, I am the favourite of many! Other chronist claim that Charles I was my greatest patron. Also the collection of Edward Hyde (First Earl of Clarendon and the controversial lord chancellor to Charles II) contains some of my works.
The scandal-ridden Third Earl of Clarendon, however, was born 20 years after my death, so our Edward's patronage for me is rather …ehem … supernatural. You alone connect us both with the help of your time-travelling boots … As we never met in person.
Guess I got me an important job then... connectin' ya to pople the way I do.

King James began to rule his native Scotland when he was 12 years old.
His majesty knew little of his parents.
His father, Henry Stuart, was murdered in 1567, and his mother, Mary, Queen of Scots, was forced to leave the country when she married the suspected murderer, James Hepburn.
