I’m sick of people telling me to just get over it. Like it’s that easy.

It would be so much easier if it was for attention. Why would I make myself worried to the bone just for attention when you just can scream, or have a bad behaviour ?

My hypochondria

I think it all started when a doctor, who saw me ONCE, told me I had blood cancer. Turned out I didn’t, and my family doctor knew it and told me right away it wasn’t blood cancer. But still, I’ve been scared.

My hypochondria get worse when my confidence started to drop and is focused on my breast (most of the time I’m convinced I have breast cancer), my least favourite part of my body. The “funny” thing is that I’m a coward, so I don’t check myself because I’m too scared to feel something, and I won’t ask any appointment to my doctor to check them for me. I’m too scared of what’s next. Even if I know the earlier we know we got breast cancer, the easier it will heal.

I prefer to think “I might die in few weeks, we’ll see”

Hey, is it possible to develop breast cancer at 17?

I've read there is less than 1 in a million at your age. Especially if you don't smoke heavily, or have any cancer family history. I too, am obsessed and scared with the idea of having breast cancer, I can't touch them anymore because I'm too scared to feel something hard.

Je me baladais dans la rue quand un groupe d'hommes passe à côté de moi. Ni une ni deux, un petit commentaire de type “charmante” et sifflement se fait entendre. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de me retourner pour dégainer une réplique cinglante qu'un des amis du relou qui m'a abordée lui a donné une grande claque derrière la tête. J'essaie de retranscrire la conversation exacte : - Pote du relou : Mais ferme ta gueule ! Ma soeur m'a dit qu'elle en a trop plein le cul des mecs qui lui disent ça dans la rue ! Tu crois que la dame elle voulait que tu la dragues ? T'arrêtes maintenant ! - Relou : Mais.. Mais … C'était un compliment, t'abuses franchement, hein m'dame, j'ai rien dit de méchant … - Moi : Non ce n'est pas méchant, mais c'est embêtant. Ton ami a raison, quand on se promène dans la rue, on a pas envie d'avoir ce genre de pseudo compliments à la volée … C'est pas cool du tout. - Relou : Ah merde, ben heu… Merde, chuis grave désolé ! - Pote du relou : Ouais pis tu verras, j'te filerais des liens que m'a donné ma soeur sur facebook, ça m'a fait grave réfléchir. Faut pas refaire ça. -Relou : Bah ok, merde alors, pardon… Bonne soirée m'dame !
