I’ve decided I’m simply not gonna bother attempting to explain my thought process about this au- because I know my words won’t be able to keep up with my thoughts.

Linktober Day 4: Nostalgia

who else could i do for this prompt but og link? in the iconic pose from his official art, of course. and picking a design was easy- i have known i wanted to draw this hyrule design since i first saw it, it is so good. hair antennae, wing cape, such gorgeous browns and greens... i love him

Question: what would the Linked universe boys look like as slugcats?

Honestly I’m surprised turning the chain into Scugs wasn’t the first thing I did when I started thinking about this crossover- Let’s fix that!

*turns your blorbos into fucked up little rats*

I gave Time one of the special vulture masks Elite Scavs can have to look like the fierce deity mask. It’s hard to see, but instead of the blue diamond(?) shape on the forehead, I used the karma one symbol because it represents wrath/violence. I also opted to make all the markings red in the final drawing for better cohesion.

Other than that, I don’t have much to say about the design process for these guys, cause it’s all pretty straightforward stuff.

And I’m not quite sure what i want to do with the others, so they’ve been spared from the scugification beam, for now…

Heyyyyy- sorry bout disappearing for a month, I started drawing these back in April- but turns out full illustrations with backgrounds and multiple characters take awhile to draw, who would’ve guessed 💀

Yeah so this all started after the Watcher dlc dropped and I thought “haha both of my current hyper-fixations have time travel mechanics that’s so funny- what if i combined them.” And I’ve had brain worms ever since.

I doubt many of you actually know what RainWorld is, let alone played it.. But to the maybe 7 people who actually know what the fucking I’m talking about, I love you -and could you imagine the chain’s reaction upon seeing a Miros vulture for the first time? :3c

I have so many thoughts in my brain about this stupid little au and I need to draw them SO BAD but drawing is HARD and takes TIME and I need to EXPLODE

Also I used some photo bashing to make the backgrounds. I really didn’t wanna draw Pebbles’ superstructure by hand, so I just used some of the game’s official art and painted on top. Pretty fun technique, definitely gonna play with it more in the future.

AH sorry for the late response! I bought the Animal crossing DLC over Easter and it totally consumed my life- I forgot tumblr existed for bit 💀

But yes, you’re totally welcome to write something inspired by it! I’d love to see it! Writing doesn’t come easy to me so it brings me great joy to see others fully flesh out an idea i had lol. I can draw stuff but actually putting my thoughts into written words? Nightmare.

Also thank you <33 more art (hopefully) coming soon- I finished painting the bookshelf that was taking so much of my time- so I’m finally free to draw again 💪💪

Close ups & Yapping under the cut

This was my first big sewing project in like.. ever… it genuinely came out really well and I’m super happy with it. Like girl I hemmed the edges and everything.

I thrifted the shirt and used it as a base. It was actually a long sleeve originally.

Also fun fact the faux fur is actually just a rug that I cut in half and strapped to my back LMAO- I wanted to get actual like craft fur but that shit is expensive.. oh and the textured sleeve was made out of some random decorative dishcloth we had for Christmas.

I had plans to add some fake chainmail under the sleeves and bottom of the shirt like I had with the collar, but unfortunately I ran out of time, and I really can’t be bothered to finish it right now. 😔

I couldn’t find anything that looked remotely like the shadow crystal- so I just wore the little triforce necklace a friend gave me a few years ago. It helped people know who I was dressed up as anyways lol.

Guardian Spirit

So y’know the whole “Wind is Four’s descendant” Theory/Headcanon? Well I was thinking about it… So y’know how Wind can see ghosts in PH? And y’know how at the start of his adventure in WW he takes the family shield- Four’s shield with him?

Well… What if Wind could always see ghosts, and when he took the shield it kinda woke up a lingering part of Four’s spirit. What if he was like a guardian angel of sorts, looking out for & protecting Wind during the early parts of his adventure when he couldn’t always do it himself. What if his form is so blurry & faded from the passage of time that Wind can’t quite make it out, but he can feel his presence and knows someone’s looking out for him. I just think that would be neat. :3

Misc Four Design Concepts

Uhh something something- I headcannon the Foursword/the colours kinda works like a prism when u shine white light through it- so I wanted to try to emphasizing white in his design. Rocs cape seemed like a good way to do that, here’s a bunch of ideas.

None of these are final obviously, other than what I did with the Colours tunics- I’m so attached to the single square of colour and the rest being white.

Also the single doodle of legend is inspired by one of the outfits in Triforce heroes. The blue one with the white cape and gold accents. Can’t remember its name rn but it goes hard so yk

Woe, OC art be upon ye

Hiiiiiiii so this is my D&D/M&M character Arti. They’re my funny lil guy, likes to cause trouble and mischief.

They’re from a Mha-inspired campaign my friend is hosting and she’s been lots of fun to play. They can control anything made of metal, move it, bend it, shrink it, melt it, etc. but they can’t make it.
