Honestly when you actually start to think about why something is morally “right” or “wrong” you start to realize that it’s because people just feel that way. Why is murder bad? Because you’re taking a life but…why is that bad? Because people care? But that’s not a reason. Until you realize it’s based on empathy/sympathy/compassion (NOTE THE WORD CHOICE) and this same reason applies to virtually every moral out there. So of fucking course people with low to no empathy/sympathy struggle with understanding and living within societal norms because those norms are dictated by one’s ability to relate to other people. So no, that “psychopathic narcissist” isn’t evil, they were brought into a society that doesn’t accept them and is built on the preconceived notion that everyone experiences things the same way. (Same principal goes for autistic people and any other person who might not feel empathy/sympathy/compassion the same way) and we are just expected to cater to their norms and somehow find a way through their constructs.
Not saying morals are pointless and stupid but I am saying that they ARE a societal construct and expecting every single person, regardless of background, to adhere to the same ones is fucking absurd especially in a world where people like us are not given the support we need
