One Autumn's Fall - In-game setting; play-through novelisation.
When you're infected with a mindflayer's parasitic young and left in a pod to die, even a lifetime spent navigating the complicated interplay between Menzoberranzan and the surface world might not be sufficient preparation for the challenges and agonies ahead. There is more in sun and shade than the fear of ceremorphosis, and each step slouching towards Baldur's Gate brings her that much closer to the fateful decisions that will determine the rest of her life. The party's outlook is bleak at best, and the fragile band is held together by twin bonds of necessity and Kythreen's force of will. But all's well that ends...
Descent - Post-game setting with in-game flashbacks.
Kythreen, a Lolth-sworn drow, brought together the unlikely band of adventurers who saved Baldur's Gate. When one of her companions was faced with an impossible choice, she ran headlong into Avernus to save her friend's life – and destroyed her own in the process. She might have left Faerûn for good reason, but the lover she was forced to leave behind will never see it that way. Even surrounded by friends, Kythreen is still alone in the city she saved, and desperately trying to piece together a life in spite of what she lost. She'll move on at all costs. But "what she lost" isn't done with her...

Bloodthirst - Pregame setting; one-shot.
Astarion should have been having a night like any of the others spent on the hunt for Cazador's victims. But one target had him distracted. Obsessed. What was different about this girl? He didn't know, and he didn't care. He just knew he wasn't bringing her back to the palace before he'd had his fill of her. It wasn't Astarion's problem that she would be the one paying the price for his lusts. Even though she was innocent. Sweet. And too good for Cazador. Wasn't she?
Bloodbound - In-game setting; play-through novelisation with pre-game flashbacks.
Astarion would know that face anywhere. She'd played his victim so well - right up until the moment that his prey had revealed itself as the hunter. Maybe he'd gotten what he'd deserved, left for dead in an alleyway after she brought him to bliss, fed him blood that tasted like the gods themselves... and sunk a jagged red dagger between his ribs. But now, looking at that face in the bright sunlight, with a dagger of his own at her throat, he knows something is different. Wrong. Those eyes seem to hold absolutely no recognition, no memory of the things they did to each other that night in Baldur's Gate. If this is an act, it's the best performance Astarion has ever seen, but the scars that slice across her pretty features tell a different tale.

Many homeless children found a place in Neverwinter's temple to Corellon, safe within the god's sanctuary. Many stayed on after coming of age, taking vows as adepts in the god's service.

Hope to see your pretty Tavs, Durges, and companions around the "studio!"
One of my favourite shots for the mod and another entry into the "Tav pretending to be a Durge" scrapbook (and thanks to Lynia for helping me with idiomatic prepositions in my lil Manet allusion)

When first I saw her stand among the sworn,
And heard devotion gather at her name,
I scored the chasteness in how she spoke,
And felt my heedful posture budge its frame.
She named me Darthiir—ogglin of the height,
Though hubris in me is seldom slow to rise;
I let the syllables lie dormant there
And watched what glinted, perfidious, in my eyes.
This sargtlin, schooled by some relentless ilhar,
Wore z’ress as others wear a second skin;
An oath of araj held her silence firm,
No need of thunder to command within.
I bowed as malla, knowing what I play,
And felt her claim before I turned away.

A little while back, I featured an (insane) dress in Descent that became very near and dear to my heart. In an incredible bout of talent, the dress finally got brought to unbelievable virtual life by the outrageously talented BerrySemifreddo...
Pennygood wasn’t the only one who was harmed by the fact that he couldn’t sell her the dress. It was exquisite. It was strapless; the entire ensemble covered in semi-transparent, abstract shapes that, assembled as they were, looked like pieces of stained glass arranged into rose patterns. It was almost sheer, though with the “glass” pieces, it was even less risqué than the dress Shadowheart had settled upon. The gauzy fabric onto which the ornaments were secured was black, almost like the black wrought iron that would have framed glass pieces in a real window.
Even Shadowheart was lulled into silence by the gown. “We really should have gone shopping earlier,” she admitted. “Maybe you could have nabbed it before someone else did.”
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” she told him, and meant it. “For the love of Lolth, there has to be something we can work out. It was practically made for me.”
“No,” he said, firmly, if mournfully. “We really can’t.”
“Can’t I talk to the original buyer? I’m not the slightest bit above bribery.” Or threats, if the owner was sufficiently irritating.
“No.”
“Just ‘no?’ Could you at least pass on my details to the lucky saer?”
He shook his head. “No, I cannot and will not. Ugh, but I wish I hadn’t let you even see it. Believe me. You and that dress together are a vision; I wish I could. Perhaps I’ll design something for you next year, reminiscent of this piece…”
So who did commission it? I guess it'll be a mystery forever...
I’m just as surprised as you. I all but had kittens when I saw the recipient on the delivery. What were the odds? I was just glad I hadn’t taken out the pins yet from when you tried it on. Made for the easiest unseen-client alterations I’ve ever had to do. I just hope that the minions of our mutual “benefactor” get this delivered to you in time. I hope that’s “dramatic” enough for you.
Wear it well and make me proud. – F. ”F.” P.
There might have been respectable tears when I saw the final product. She got every single detail in, right down to the uncooperative corsetry.
Like Kythreen, I'm pretty sure there's nothing I wouldn't do for this dress...
