Extremely out there take but a lot of people don’t like Langdon because he’s an addict showing the signs of addiction. “He’s an asshole” yeah not gonna lie that’s what addiction does to you. Did you not watch House MD steal from his hospital day after day on that show?? Langdon, unlike House, made efforts and EXTREMELY GOOD ONES AT THAT to better himself, take responsibility, and grow past his addiction. It’s a very very realistic depiction. Addiction makes you do CRAZY SHIT!!! It’s a disease!! He got addicted after getting prescribed them [benzos] and not being able to get off of them! Not all addicts are gonna be sweet, loving bundles of joy. They’re humans going through an extremely rough mental illness that can strip them of their mind, body, and every relationship in their life. They will, nine times out of ten, not be very happy. And I personally think he was great and selfless in the second season, and also him coming back at the end of the first one to help with the mass casualty event despite knowing that people there would be pissed as hell wasn’t very “asshole” to me. Smh thx for coming to my rant

I am pro-accredited aquariums and zoos. My posts critiquing the animal rights movement are blowing up right now and I just want to come out and say definitively that I appreciate zoos and aquariums allowing the public to view wild animals without potentially disturbing them in their natural habitat or resorting to the illegal exotic pet trade. It is valuable for conservation purposes and many aquariums/zoos take unreleasable wildlife and host breeding programs for endangered species. They are not just institutions for human amusement, they are integral to maintaining public interest and studying the ecology and biology of the animals contained within.
