So, tumblr has certainly done it again. And I want to explain this to any followers who happen upon this blog or my original and wonder what happened.

Last night, on November 3rd, tumblr had told me they had noticed some “suspicious activity” on my account, requesting me to reset the password. I logged out, entered my email for the password reset and when tumblr sent me the link, it wasn’t there.

Not in my inbox or my spam. I’ve tried contacting support and at this moment I have received no help. While the account is still active I’m not able to access it. I apologize to anyone who wants to try and get in touch with me, please understand that it was not intentional.

I understand that I can start again on this blog, it just sucks having lost a blog of mine that I spent 4 years making. If you are a fan of arkus-rhapsode content, please spread this around. Any exposure helps. And while I’m hopeful I could get my old account back, I will be using this one for the foreseeable future.

it’s painful when fandoms get in fights over whether a female character is A Feminist Icon or Just Hot Garbage.  more often than not, the core issue is just that she wasn’t written well, and some people relate to the character they want her to be, while others are taking her at face value.

I guarantee you the best summary of it all is a simple “she deserved better”.

They do bad things because they’re scared.

They’re gullible or misinformed. Example: somebody who has been told the heroes are out to hurt them.

They are desperate for interaction, validation, kindness, or attention, and the dark side gives them those things. 

They want to change their allegiance, but are pressured by people close to them to stay evil.

They have an otherwise noble goal that they will do literally anything to achieve. Example: somebody who wants to protect their child, even if it means throwing other children into danger.
