CLOSED -- Bench in the Park -- one-winged-marco
Armin tucked his book under his arm, making sure his scarf was situated correctly. Humming, he watched as his air showed over the thick cloth, making a smoke-like cloud, then dissipating. Slowly did he blink as he took his book back into his hands again, and proceeded along the sidewalk towards the nearby park from his house.
Today was a snow-day, and he intended to treat it as such. By reading out in the snow. He always had a reason for this, though. The actions were in order to 'get out a little more,' as per his mother suggested, and it was a new way to find someone new to talk to. There was no harm in that, right? Smiling to himself, his blue eyes studied the area he had wandered to in the park: nearly deserted, with a singular bench nearby a frozen lake. With a closer look, Armin determined that the ice was not thick enough to even hold him correctly, and he did take note of that as he proceeded to clean off the bench from the snow with a glove. Gently patting off the flakes, he settled down comfortable and sighed contently.
Once he was settled, Armin proceeded to read with a hand in his pocket, ears tuning out most sounds as his focus was put solely on the book he read.

"Armin-- Did you take my blanket? I'm freezing.."
Armin gave a slow blink, gripping the blanket that was on his body before rolling over and situating the blanket over Jean and him. “Sorry— Didn’t mean to,” he croaked out, tucking himself right in the crook of the other’s body, eyelids heavy.
"It’s fine." Jean didn’t hate the shared bunk arrangement as much as he said he did. It was winter, and Armin put out a lot of heat. He was soft, too. Nice to hold, touch. Smiling to himself, he tucked him close, wrapping an arm over him.
The blonde remembered Jean’s fussing over how he had to share a bunk a week or two ago with. He was a grumbling mess as he just essentially complained about having to have another body in his space. Sighing quietly as he relaxed into the warm body, Armin laid his head back on Jean's chest, blonde hair splayed out on the bunk as he lay awake, placing a hand on top of the other's arm.
"Armin-- Did you take my blanket? I'm freezing.."

"Hey…Armin wait, where are you going?"
"Then stay with me." Marco pressed his ear against the receiver harder. "I mean…You don’t have too, but I would rather you be here…than so far away."
"Really?" he whispered out, shifting as he opened his eyes, looking around the room for his mother. Armin gave a small smile. "Could I?.. I mean, you don’t have an issue with that? And your parents? I can definitely pay for my own things— And I don’t take up much room, I swear." He was babbling.
"Take care of yourself."
"Hey…Armin wait, where are you going?"
"But.." Marco inhaled deeply. "I-why? Why are you leaving?" sitting he gripped his phone tightly.
After a second he murmured softly. “I don’t want you to go..”
"Mom needs to go back home. She isn’t doing very good, and she’s taking me with. I mean, she did mention that she’d let me stay if I find someone to stay with— But.." Armin’s voice grew quiet at the end, his cheeks aflame at Marco’s comment.
"I don’t want to leave, either."
"Take care of yourself."
"Hey…Armin wait, where are you going?"
His hand shook as he held the phone, blue eyes closed as he gently thumbed the bridge of his nose.
"I'm leaving-- Back home to England," Armin murmured as he swallowed hard. (assuming they're living in America.)
"If you don’t rest, you won’t heal."
"I have things to do though," Moblit whines.

A couple hours later Moblit awoke, looking around the room to see Armin sleeping in the chair. He smiles softly and wraps a blanket around the younger boy before walking out of the room, putting on his jacket.
Armin shifted in his sleep, dropping his book at last as he slouched a little bit more as he covered himself further with the blanket that was placed over his body. Sighing through his nose, he relaxed once more as he fell back asleep.

Jean blinked out of his half-dream state, scooting sideways to allow Armin enough room to crawl under the blankets with him. “You finish your book?” He mumbled sleepily. “I dunno how you can stay awake this late just to read.”
Armin gave a small chuckle, nodding as he curled himself up slightly against the other, resting his head on the pillow that Jean's was situated on. "Yeah, I did," he said as he rubbed his own cheek with a fingertip, blinking slowly. "Reading is one of my favorite pass times. It's hard to get out of the habit, honestly. I'm sorry for not coming to bed sooner, Jean."

"Okay, then!" He hummed, tucking a strand of his hair behind his ear as he thought.
"Let’s see. You’re extraordinary, Connie. Hm. Zinnia, perhaps? They resemble remembrance, lasting affection, and goodness," Armin gave a little chuckle, shifting ever so slightly as he waited for a reaction.
