Not really a question, per se, but a statement. I'm a writer, and I'm making a character who is an aro-ace half-siren. She gets really irritated when people assume that she's a flirtatious heartbreaker because she's not. She's more like, "Leave me alone if you like your facial features where they are." What do you think? There is more to her personality but I thought you might want to know. 💜💚

That’s amazing! First of all, thank you so much for just writing an aro-ace character. I love that view on her and think that that definitely captures an aspect (aspect?) of being aro-ace (people automatically making the assumption that romance is always desirable). The fact that she is half-siren and aro-ace is pretty ace too. You are the author of your own story, though, and should make your characters however you want. Keep on writing! I would love to see how this turns out. Thank you so much for telling me this!

Not a question, but there is a comic called "rock and riot" that has LGBT+ characters and at least 3 ace-specs.

This isn’t an question but there’s an ace character called Liv (she’s 15) in a show called emmerdale and the storyline has just started and it’s already amazing (the other LGBT rep in the show is excellent too btw)
