Selfship Headcanon

Mermaid AU where I’m the mermaid, and Shiroe first spots me by the river when he’s there thinking. At first, assumes it’s just a fish or something, and doesn’t come back for a while after that. He returns later looking kind of depressed and lonely, and that’s when I make my appearance. He shouts and screams and falls back a bit, then starts asking a ton of questions. Eventually, comes back every day with different books to read and talks to me. Shares his hopes and dreams and information about his life, only to find out I’ve known about him for a long time. Because I’ve been paying attention and watching and he’s just red.

He doesn’t want anyone to find out about me, because he wants to keep me safe but also kind of wants me to himself. Tries to figure out a way for me to maybe become human, but I try to explain to him it’s wishful thinking. But he’s already decided what he’s going to do because he’s in love with me. I’m shocked but also flattered and unable to stop him since he’s already passionate about it. Later finds out he’s actually interested in marine life, finds out interesting things and thinks he has a plan.

He doesn’t.

But that’s okay.

Might elaborate on this some more or make a fic. We’ll see! I just couldn’t resist making a mermaid au bc I love mermaids and yeah lol.

“They’re right there,” Genji smiled and Hanzo just frowned at him, “You can just go tell them.”

“It’s not that simple,” Hanzo hissed and Genji rolled his eyes.

“It can be,” Genji just suggested and Hanzo bristled even more.

“They’re probably half my age,” he softly hissed.

“Did you just figure that out?”

You just kept looking directly at the brothers and took a sip of your water bottle. You’d started paying attention to your name in hushed conversation, as you listened your heart soared that the stoic archer liked you just as much as you did him.

You spun the water around the bottle and you just stood up, deciding to put an end to this. You walked towards them, making Hanzo look away suspiciously and Genji smirk.

You rested your hand on his bare shoulder and he leant into your grip, seemingly embarrassed at his reaction to your touch.

“I like you too,” you said, “It’s okay.”

He relaxed as a shuddering breath came out and Genji just happened to disappear as you were sliding your hand into his.

Selfship Headcanon

Let’s do a sleeping hc with my top four faves bc I have done that in a while??

Shiroe is such a heavy sleeper. Like he stays up until he can’t anymore, then he’s out for a while. Unless he’s nervous or anxious about something, then he’s up at every little sound. He’s also surprisingly an early riser for someone who’s sleep schedule is fucked. Likes to be up early to do everything at a reasonable time. Really cuddly too and will never let me go even when I need to her up for any reason. I have to tap him and mumble that I need to get up to allow him to slowly unravel himself from me.

Asuna is a light sleeper and is also up fairly early. She’s not too cuddly when she’s sleeping, but she does have a habit of hogging the blankets. Since I do too, it’s very hard for us to find a balance. Her favorite way to sleep is on my chest or her against my back. She has the cutest little quiet snores that you won’t notice unless you’re paying close attention. And her bedhead is absolutely adorable. Loves to sleep in my sweaters???? What a cutie I love.

Saeyoung is a heavy sleeper, but also has a lot of nightmares. When he’s stirring a lot I have to wake him up, because I never know if he’s having a nightmare. Lots of times he wakes up on his own breathing heavy and swearing and terrified. Sometimes he doesn’t realize I’m there and calls out to me. On those nights I have to hold him tight and sing him back to sleep. He’s such an insane cuddler. Has to literally cling onto me when he sleeps. He’s also a loud snorer too and fights me for the blankets. Also drools sometimes too.

Yami is such a pleasant person to sleep with? He doesn’t need to be held at night, but just likes to know I’m there. Also a light sleeper, and sometimes will wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. Sometimes I’ll find him up at like four am in the living room watching TV or doing something to occupy his mind for a bit. On those nights we usually stay up together playing duel monsters or something and then we have trouble getting up the next day.
