Everyone knows about Chekov's Gun, but let me tell you about Hussie's Gun

Hussie's Gun is sitting on the mantle in act 1. In act 2, people keep commenting on the gun, but nothing happens. In Act 3 Act 1, someone puts flowers in the gun barrel. In Act 3 Act 2, the gun is randomly replaced by a Big Mouth Billy Bass. In Act 3 Act 3, they find the gun again. In Act 4 Act 1, they realize the gun was never loaded. In Act 4 Act 2, they fire the gun anyway, and the flowers still lodged in the barrel kill a villain who just happens to be allergic to flowers. In Act 4 Act 3, they lose the killer flower gun through a time portal. In act 4 Act 4 Act 1, they realize they need it again, so they steal it from the past and replace it with a big mouth billy bass...

In Act 6, they turn on the big mouth billy bass, and it starts firing the missing bullets everywhere.

That Ralsei post reminded me, but do you remember years ago when transfem Roxy Lalonde was so much more popular? I miss that

i was big on the transfem Roxy train and it was a big part of why i didn’t like the Epilogues at first — but as i grew and reread both the original comic and the Epilogues, i found that i actually really liked the take that none of the eight human kids had transitioned before the events of the comic; i really like the take that in Alternia’s version of the family unit, young trolls just have better control over their presentation, how they dress etc which naturally means that Sollux and Vriska could transition young (but perhaps the gendered expectations of the seadwellers is more of a cultural barrier to young transition, like Eridan), and i deeply prefer seeing the human kids transition in the narrative itself rather than the human transition stories being in media res. i don’t think that the Teen Girl We All Wanted To Be Growing Up Chracter growing up to become transmasc bothers me as much as it does a lot of other transfems; especially when we have literally the main character of the entire story transitioning to become a woman and ostensibly the entire main narrative of Homestuck being her unrepressing enough to do that
