another thing that affects aros, particularly those who don’t seek any kind of partnership, is the inability to ‘grow up’. both aros and aces are already infantilised but many traditional life goals are inaccessible

an aro person might never get married. they might never be able to afford to live on their own, and won’t have a single consistent person to move in with. as well as just not having a partner to navigate the more difficult and terrifying aspects of life with, aromantic people may never be able to get out of their 20s.
