no study post today, just venting.
The very train station in Novi Sad, where I'm always travelling from, is currently closed due to the canopy collapsing, ending in 14 casualties including children. In the last two or three years the train station was renovated twice just for this to happen. It was ''renovated'' but opened unfinished for them to take photos smiling, then renovated once more and opened, again, unfinished. The politicians are saying that it was the whole station getting a makeover but not this part, blaming it on the building being 60+yo like we are all insane and forgetful af here. But if that's not enough, the news articles are being altered to remove that part about the new steel canopy. Like we are living in Orwell's 1984. These people are the same who want to extract lithium and build a nuclear power plant. I'm trying to process this as I was supposed to be there at the time of the accident but I decided, at the last minute, not to go because I wasn't feeling well.
I have no words honestly.
