I’ve seen a lot of Momswap stuff with Steven and Pearls recently! I really enjoy it, so I ended up drawing Steven Bluniverse…. and then thought “why stop there?”

Here’s the whole entourage! Don’t think too hard about how it all happened, it’s just theoretical. :)

This has probably been done already but can you draw yellow diamond tearing up and being like blue stop crying but blue isn't actually crying (sorry if this is horribly worded)

But now with White Pearl, and all these theories of Pink’s original pearl being replaced…. I think when Rose heard Pearl say that, it scared her for a good reason

The Diamonds Each Heal Corruption in Their Own Way

If you haven’t seen the episode “Legs From Here to Homeworld” click away to avoid spoilers.

If you’ve seen the episode, you’ll know that Steven convinced the diamonds to help heal the corrupted gems, specifically Centipeetle.

First Yellow Diamond tries…

Yellow Diamond brought her regular physical form back, but that’s about it.

Then Blue Diamond helps…

With the help of Blue Diamond, Centipeetle becomes less animal-like, and becomes more conscious. However, she’s still far from normal. Blue Diamond brings out her emotions, specifically the negative ones.

Lastly, Steven joins in…

Now she finally seems back to normal. Steven is the one who brings back her mind, as she’s now able to state her gem, facet, and mission.

What it Means:

Yellow Diamond can heal physically

Yellow Diamond’s attacks are physical based, such as poofing gems with electricity

Blue Diamond can heal emotionally

Blue Diamond’s attacks are based on emotions, such as making gems cry uncontrollably

Pink Diamond can heal mentally

Pink Diamond/Steven’s powers are mental, such as being able to connect with people thought their thoughts when unconscious

White Diamond is the glue to hold it all together

She’s the biggest, strongest Diamond

I’ve been seeing so many theories about White Pearl, so ima throw my two cents in.

I was thinking about how Yellow and Blue Diamond’s Pearls were not only made for them to match the Diamonds’ appearance, but were also made with a personality to compliment their respective Diamonds as well.

Like her Diamond, Yellow Pearl is also strict and temperamental. Although she remains subservient to her Diamond, she’s willing to bark at anyone else going against the rules (i.e. Peridot using the direct Diamond communication line)

So Blue Pearl…

She’s as different in personality to Yellow Pearl, as their respective Diamonds are to each other. Blue Pearl is very quite, and when she does speak it’s very softly, similar to Blue Diamond’s own gentle nature. When her Diamond is grieving, she kneels along side her.

But what does this all have to do with White Pearl? Well we’ve already made the observation that based on White Pearl’s gem placement and her outfit design, ignoring color, looks much more like a custom made Pearl for Pink Diamond. However, if the pattern of Pearls’ personalities being made to compliment their owners, Pink Pearl’s personality and behavior would be unacceptable from a Pearl by Homeworld standards.

If Pink Pearl were to be anything like her Diamond, her resulting personality could have ranged from being stubborn, impulsive, questioning. All traits that would have been undesirable in any Gem, let alone a Pearl.

Pink Pearl was made personally for her Diamond. She may have been “altered” by White Diamond upon meeting this Pearl, deeming this one unfit.

But then, why would White keep what would have been seen as a defective Pearl, an Off Color Gem?

To make an example out of her.

Pink Pearl shared the same traits that made Pink Diamond so unmanageable. She was “fixed” and placed into White Diamond’s court. As a message to all other gems that they must know their places.

White pearl, appears:

“It’s White’s Pearl.”

This is not a normal reaction to a Pearl. Blue and Yellow don’t even acknowledge each other’s Pearls when they appear together.

They give each other concerned, nervous glances. Blue and Yellow know what happened to this Pearl, and even with their abhorrent standards to their Pearls, White possibly went extra level with hers.

Take a look at Garnet’s and Pearl’s reactions.

Garnet appears to be unnerved, like the others, but it’s likely she’s never seen White’s Pearl before. She’s more of a “What the heck is that!?”

But Pearl? Our Pearl? Her expression looks like she’s familiar with White Pearl. It’s the kind of look where you cringe remember somebody really, super creepy and unpleasant.
