Maybe this is just me being depressed again, but I can't stop thinking about my theory that Pink ordered her original Pearl to stop following orders bc the power dynamic between them made her Pearl unhappy and they both wanted to be friends. It was an invalid order, however, and it caused permanent damage to her eye. Then her Pearl was deemed broken and was taken away, leaving Pink devastated and alone. She was eventually given a new Pearl, who she could have customized to be just like the old one, a Pearl she could be more careful with, but she didn't want a new Pearl. She wanted her best, her only, friend back. She rejected her new Pearl, leaving her on the default settings. Later, she was given a Spinel to entertain her, to fill the void, but:
Spinel doesn't actually make her happy. She made her smile and laugh, but there's more to happiness than what you see on the outside. Just like her new Pearl, she saw Spinel as just another failed attempt to replace her real friend. Even on Earth, when she actively tries to befriend her new Pearl, to encourage her to provide her own opinion, only to get the same sort of brainwashed response you'd get from any Pearl:
"I could imagine it, if you would like me to, my Diamond!"
I'm convinced what happened to Pink Pearl is a key element in why Pink was the way she was, why she struggled to be close and honest with other people, why she had a tendency to isolate herself, why she wanted to keep the humans out. She lost someone she cared deeply for because of her own actions. It was even worse after the war, when she lost countless gems she also came to care for, also a result of her own actions. Human lives are so short, while hers is so...infinite.
"You surround yourself with inferior lifeforms so you can be best of the worst." Was this a dig at Pink's involvement with the Crystal Gems during the war, or something more personal. I really don't think it was a coincidence that White sent Pink's original Pearl to greet "her."
"What are doing here, and what are you doing to me?!"
Why did she react like this to Greg's song? This line suggests that she has some power over him that he can't resist. She already cares about him, she wouldn't be wearing that shirt otherwise, and hearing someone she cares about almost lamenting the control she has over them, it must have stirred something in her...until...
"You're everything I want!"
It's less what he says and more the way he says it. He wants to be with her, not because she forced him to or he's naturally compelled to. It's his own choice. He chose her. Likewise, with Pearl, they instantly became closer when Pearl began to act spontaneously, come up with her own ideas, imagine things...like herself, running away from her purpose, living on Earth, meeting a Rose Quartz and falling in love...
"Please, don't ever stop!"
This. This is something that Pink, that Rose, desperately wanted.
I don't remember where i was going with this, but it was keeping me up. It's almost 3 am and I can't stop thinking about what motivated Pink, deep down.
It really speaks to one of the reasons she decided to become Rose Quartz permanently... she desperately wanted to relinquish the control she had over others and the weight of that responsibility.
after stumbling into a few unfriended video reviews about the original and the sequel, i thought of another concept that could work for unfriended: cyberstalking and parasocial relationships.
so basically the MC (can be any gender or not) is a content creator who makes livestreams and owns a discord.
there is a ‘fan’ at the discord who then starts sending slightly uncomfortable private messages to them. at first they try to ignore since there were other fans who did something similar.
however it takes a dark turn when the ‘fan’ starts making cryptic messages to them and talking about how much they love them. The MC is creeped out and tries to get them to stop via removing them and sending a message in attempt to keep them at peace.
however while in a private video chat with their friends (which be a mix of irl friends and friends who are also content creators), the ‘fan’ hacks into the server and starts tormenting their friends before killing them just like the other ‘unfriended’.
it could even expose the MC to the dark side of their friends that will very well ruin their relationship with said friend.
this movie could either have a good or bad ending, depending on what actions are led by the characters

Also i don't really know how to do Hollyberry or White Lily since their Beast are still not out but if you have any ideas or suggestions and ill see if i can find inspiration from them!)

story:
Just like the original Golden Cheese Cookie, Griffin Cheese Cookie was the holder of the Light of Abundance. She loved her treasures and her people, and considered them to be hers.
However, as time went on, things began to change in both her kingdom and mind. Her sparkling treasures were not as glamorous as she once thought any more. She began wondering why she was acting this way.
Why weren’t they making her happy?
She began to falter and a good chunk of her people noticed her becoming more and more unstable. They varied from trying to leave or trying to help her.
Griffin cheese Cheese wouldn’t listen; she didn’t want things to change, nor did she want things to go on. She didn't know what was wrong with her. all she knew her treasure was not enough anymore.
No… it was never enough in the first place. she couldn’t take having so little. She wanted more than what she had.
She didn’t care how she got it, she just needed more. But not everything could be given to her nor could she earn it…not as long as it was another’s.
So she’ll need to take it.
Facts:
She is not just greedy with treasure; she can be greedy with people. She wants people to worship her and does everything to get them to be part of her ‘treasures’, even brainwashing them.
The only ones she doesn’t take from are the other beasts since she considers them her possessions after corruption.
She doesn’t care for the people she stole from, nor does she usually care if they join her.
She brainwashed her subjects always follow her due to her inability to let things go.
She is a mix of Jafar, Mother gothal, and The Beldam (coraline)
Dark Cacao Cookie
The King of Hostility/Disunity
story:
Dark Cacao Cookie was once a great king in a great kingdom. He had everything he could ever want in his life, from his loyal subjects’ support to his son’s, Dark Choco Cookie, and admiration for him. He once held the light of resolution and hoped his son would follow in his footsteps.
However, that all changed when his kingdom was forced into a prolonged yet brutal war with another kingdom. At first, Dark Cacao tried to resolve the conflict, but the opposing kingdom refused; they wanted nothing more than to destroy his kingdom.
The war was hostile to the Dark Cacao Kingdom, and many soldiers and civilians were killed and tortured by their enemy. Still, Dark Cacao tried to find a resolution in their situation. However it was obvious that his belief was faltering by the minute.
that all changed when the opposing kingdom launched an attack, which killed Dark Choco cookie. This was a poor choice of war tactics because Cacao sent out stronger forces against them.
The opposing side's numbers were dwindling by day before they eventually lost the war. However that wasn't enough for the Cacao. They have hurt his people for too long. they needed to suffer for what they’ve done…
in fact, all who opposed him needed to suffer.
Facts:
Cacao has his face obscured similarly to Belos in Owl house
He rage wars on unsuspecting kingdoms due how twisted his beliefs and paranoia got.
Despite him being sadistic, he still has a soft side for the beast and misses Dark Choco cookie greatly (Dark Choco is a phantom and only outsiders to beast yeast can see him)
his personality is a mix of emperor Belos and Yellow Diamond
His name doesn’t change because he doesn’t feel any different from his past self (he is 100% not the same person he once was)
Vanilla Abstract Cookie
The Spirit of despair/reality
Story:
Vanilla Abstract was once the ruler of the thriving Vanilla kingdom and holder to the light of truth, Pure Vanilla Cookie. He once wore those titles with honor and swore to use them for the good of all cookiekind.
Every truth learned was beneficial and harmless at first. But as time went on, the knowledge that he was given began showing terrible things. Wars, Plauges, Genocides, and many other unspeakable tragedies.
Pure Vanilla Cookie was terrified by this. He didn’t understand why he was being shown these awful truths. But he pushed forward; He tried to see past them, tried to look for hope; but it was hard to find any hope with how much sorrow he was seeing.
It only took one last truth before he abandoned all hope.
He knew the truth know. Life for his kind was cruel, unfair, and unforgiving. there was no point in trying to ignore the truth when it was staring at them right in the face.
it wasn’t long before his despair spread across the vanilla kingdom and beyond. Many cookies were forced to experience a prolonged and painful feeling of despair
it’s selfish to keep the reality a secret, so he might as well share it
Facts:
Vanilla Abstract’s body is almost shapeless. he can change how his body looks with the exception of his head.
His eyes are always closed, but when he opens them, waterfalls of tears pour down.
He is not malicious at all and doesn’t really kill unless he deems them as ‘ignorant’
his powers and personality is similar to Blue Diamond and Truthless Recluse. He is also similar to the witches in Madoka Magica
He doesn’t have an opinion on the other Beast but does feel grateful that they ‘understand’ him.
