Shen Yuan had already read this plot in the novel: a cultivator, resentful of his own sect, decided to sell his reincarnation and soul to demons to murder anyone who stood in his way.

Luo Binghe barely dodged another blow with soft gasps and counterattacked with effort, while Shen Yuan controlled his stony gaze when in reality he felt like a little kid in a candy store, you can't blame him! This chapter (46, actually) is the best of all: zero wife subplots, just Luo Binghe fighting a worthy opponent and unleashing every attack he'd learned throughout his life.

That didn't stop Shen Yuan from being slightly worried, especially when they reached the climax where the deranged cultivator managed to get behind Luo Binghe and was about to run him through with his cursed sword. What if something in the plot had changed? And what if his beloved Binghe gave up training to lock himself in the kitchen and bake those delicious sweets? No, forget the pessimism! Luo Binghe will turn around at the last moment and, with a clean cut, sever the cultivator's head.

After all, he's protected by the protagonist's aura.

What he hadn't counted on was a light tender caress on the palm of his hand and instantly a white and silver blur flashing past his right, heading straight for the epic battle. The figure bumped its back against Luo Binghe's, shoving him almost comically and... the unpleasant sound of flesh, bone and fabric being pierced echoed across the field.

Every time he had tea with Liu Qingge or accompanied him on hunts that just happened to coincide with the beast he was most interested in that week, the first thing that came to mind was that in the modern world, Liu Qingge would most likely have been diagnosed with adhd. But wasn't his shidi adorable holding a conversation while toying with the tassel of his sword between his fingers?

Now all those thoughts were repulsive as he looked at the master of Baizhan peak, the god of war, the person who had remained by his side since his transmigration, lying on the ground completely still with a sword piercing his stomach.

Luo Binghe slowly approached Liu Qingge until his boots were damp with the pool of blood, knelt down and trembled as he touched his neck.

"Liu-shishu...?"

Silence.

Luo Binghe slowly raised his gaze to the now disarmed cultivator.

Everything turned red.

Okay okay... Hear me out. Goth Shen Yuan.

Like, it's still the same oblivious dude we all love, but instead, he had a dark Sasuke period during his teenage years, and when he got mocked about it, he doubled on it out of spite (because of course he do).

Because of it, he stumbled into the style and genuine got into it, like the meaning of the style and its history.

Anyway, fast moving forward to the transmigration, Shen Yuan has some problems with adapting to the new world even with his OOC restrictions gone and he has some problems with missing the modern world but he can't do anything about it.

But one thing he can do is changing Shen Qingqiu's clothes. They are not really important for the narrative and since he had the memory loss bullshit he spew out, he can say he felt more comfortable with black clothes, "remembering" his past (Shen Yuan knew Shen Qingqiu was a rogue cultivator in the past as he was accused with it in PIDW when he was accused of all his crimes in Huan Hua palace).

Anyway, he found more and more excuses to wear black makeup and pale fondations that he probably made himself or buyed from the system.

I also really want to see xianxia style gothic clothes. I wouldn't know if it exists, but I'm sure Shen Yuan can figure it out.

Funnier would be that if this "culture" already exists, and that's why Shen Yuan can buy it from the system.

Knowing Airplane and the 300 wives he gave Luo Bingge (PIDW), I'm sure there are at least 3 in their. At least one Goth Mommy that helped him pay 2 months of rent because, let's be real, it sells well. (And of course, Shen Yuan had obliterated those chapters since Airplane wouldn't have done research about it and made it all male gaze)

Having Shen Qingqiu being associated with this culture would be so funny with misunderstandings. A bit like "Oh... He was a bastard because he didn't think he could be himself and live his origin/culture in his position" or "I recognized his old behavior now. In this culture being [Bastard bullshit], [extreme misandry] and [Trama response] is a sign of respect or something."

Anyway, bonus points if he tries piercings. It can make little Luo Bing (disciple LBH) wonder during all his teen years how much his shizun have and later on, were they are exactly.

Also, the image of Binghe cover in black lipstick kisses is beautiful. Like, if Shen Yuan make his makeup, the black lipstick doesn't dry well and disciples who get headpats or kisses on the head for a good job parade around with the mark like they had been blessed.

It would not help Shen Jiu at all so I don't write it, but y'all have no idea how strong the desire to have Shen Yuan attempt to gentle parent Shen Jiu into healing is. Shen Jiu does genuinely trust Shen Yuan more when he is mean and doesn't give a shit about hurting his feelings, but "Hey, so that's called child abuse, and you shouldn't do that if you want to be liked by your peers" is a mere reasoning away from becoming a line I write.

Liu Gingge has never thought too much about demons' regenerative abilities. He's always hit faster than they healed and that was it. But when he became intimately close with Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe, the latter's regeneration proved to be a cause of great frustration.

Because here's how they look in the morning:

Shen Qingqiu, who Luo Binghe treats with much delicacy, looks like a ferocious beast nibbled on him a little bit;

Liu Qingge gets another sort of treatment, and looks like said ferocious beast chewed on him thoroughly before spitting him out;

Luo Binghe - the ferocious beast in question - doesn't have a single mark on him.

And that despite the fact that Liu Qingge repays him generously for every offense! For each bruise, hickey, bite on Luo Qingge - Luo Binghe gets thrice as much! Yet by the morning it seems like Luo Binghe had him at his mercy, and Liu Qinnge had nothing to counter with.

(Luo Binghe looks very smug. Shen Qingqiu pats his arm in appeasing manner and says that at least he has everything Liu Qingge left him with)

Liu Qingge learns that Luo Binghe needs effort to prevent his skin from healing. Luo Qingge gets pretty close to learning about scars on Luo Binghe's hand and chest. When he asks, Shen Qingqiu gets all worried, but promises to tell him eventually. It's okay, Liu Qingge can wait. Wait for both of them, actually, as Luo Binghe's face does something strange when he asks about his scars. Like he's extatic and in agony at the same time.

Anyway, the ABSCENCE is what troubles Liu Qingge most, until one day Luo Binghe calls for him, and when he's sure Liu Qingge is looking, he's pulling his collar with a finger

and shows Liu Qingge exactly one fresh bright hickey.

Shamelessly stealing from Starsnores, but regressor/time traveler Bingge post extra finding a young and vulnerable Shen Jiu to groom into a nice Shizun is my favorite way to do it. I could see him buying Shen Jiu from Qiu Jianluo, or finding a way to replace the former Qing Jing peak lord. He would go back and forth between giving Shen Jiu expensive gifts and telling him how talented he is, and humiliating him in front of others. There’s just too much of him in Shen Jiu for Bingge to leave him unbroken. He can’t truly commit to grooming him or beating him, and in the end I think he would land on making Shen Jiu so physically broken he can no longer move or think for himself. Human stick him again, obvs, but also xianxia lobotomy or drug use. To the point Shen Jiu is a docile, barely conscious bundle who can hardly speak, and whom Bingge can play the brave, loving husband to his profoundly disabled wife.

For a happy ending I would have Yue Qi escape the caves, track down the man Qiu Jianluo described before he died, and turn Bingge into a fine mist. You can add or subtract to the damage Shen Jiu suffered, but Qi-ge is entirely devoted to helping his Xiao Jiu recover as much as possible. He’ll get an actually brave and loving husband dedicated to his well-being💚

Bingge can go pound sand, I’m not stanning in this particular instance.
