i'll go first! i'm the ribcage, a skeletal structure made of 37 different bones, including 24 ribs, the sternum and the thoracic spine. my purpose is to protect vital organs such as the heart or lungs, but i also support the shoulder girdle and am a major part of the respiratory system!
