Bleh... Being a boring Betty, probably doing nothing for New Years Eve. 2014 has been a strange mind change & life change for a lot of people. Things have come to a full circle for me - validating even more so what has been false in my past & what is right, now. I’m so sorry but I am actually THE worst when it comes to “what’s your favourite” type questions. It took me over 20 years to work out Laksa was my favourite food. I like a lot of things in a lot of categories & fail at ranking them.

Bring on January!

I have just done something, & it's a pretty big deal to me. I'VE SIGNED UP FOR POLE DANCE TRAINING <3

The reason why this makes me excited, yet also want to curl up into a ball nervously chanting "shit shit shit", is 'cause unbeknown to 99% of you - I actually suffer from (in waves) social anxiety & can get VERY depressed. (but hey, who doesn't or hasn't?)

I'm not here to talk about it, I never was into that, BUT! it's something that I let hold me back a lot of the time... I mean, the skills & experiences that I could have accumulated if I just got up & out of bed??? It eats me up knowing I've robbed myself of them. So here I am, openly recognising it in order to move forth.

For me, committing myself to something that involves weekly social interaction, as a student, with people I don't know, in an area I'm not totally familiar with.... Yeah... It freaks me out - But I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself! I will learn a fun new skill that is not only beneficial for performing, but will allow me to build up my strength & flexibility again - Thus making me feel fit, generally feeling better with my appearance & my inner self, knowing I finally just fucking did it!

CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW YOU ALL MY PROGRESS <3 :D I start next year!
