I got a new job and I come across vintage stuff, nostalgic, weird stuff, and funny stuff! So I decided I’ll get on reddit and post away cause I got banned from a group in Facebook lol!!! But reddit just wasn’t good enough!

So I decided to post here! I highly doubt this gets any more views then reddit! But I’ll try!

Charmed

Same show but not at all! So I was a huge fan of Charmed as a Young lad so when the reboot of Charmed came out lets just say I was excited and scared. Like how are they going to top the original or even how are they going to keep the story even going. Are they going to do a prequel to the show which would be the life of Melinda Warren! Who knew and I was scared to find out!!

So on the date of Charmed Reboot I didn't watch thinking it would be a fail and I would hear about it later!! I heard nothing! So as a few episodes go by I decided to check things out myself!! Let me tell you I AM SO GLAD I DID! This show is great!! Not only does it stick to the same ole story plot! 3 sisters that are witches fighting demons that have a white lighter but it changed it up!! 

SPOILER ALERT (tad not much)

So there is 3 sisters Maggie, Macy and Mel. Mel is a lesbian who is a very strong feminist. There is Maggie who loves the college life and just wants to fit in. Then lastly there is Macy the hot virgin scientist who takes everything literal and has to analyze everything. Now there powers are almost identical to the original show. The power to freeze time, the power to move things with there mind, and then the power of reading people thoughts. 

There is so much different with the show to but not to much where you will hate it. I love the show and I hope that they keep the show going.

2019 no gas but still fast!

This all new Harley is no gas and all electric and its your for 29,000! The older generation is going to have a heart attack or a stroke before buying this. Now the younger generation on the other hand are all ready for this. Not only is it a lot quieter and runs on electric its also not a manual. So that means no clutch no shifting. Just twist and go go go! So if any of y'all looking for a new bike here ya go it will be here in August of 2019!

To Smart for there own good!

Coming out February 17, 2019 is the new latest craze Smart shoes. We already had shoes that played music and shoes that change colors now lets make them even smarter. These shoes will connect via Bluetooth. Which will then allow you to adjust the grip that the shoe hold on your feet. It will also tie your shoes for you. Let’s not forget that it will make a work out plan for you and track if you actually do it or not. 

The only downfall to this would be are you really going to be carrying your phone on you while shooting some b-ball! Do you really want to turn your shoes on Auto-pilot? So when you take that jump shot your shoes go to comfy loose mode and you twist your ankle or end up barefoot right in some ally ball! 

I could see where this would be really awesome for the handicap so they could adjust there shoes without any assistants. To the capable body is it really worth it thou? I say... NO! I say its pointless and they have just gone to far!!

    Everybody is streaming TV now. If you aren’t streaming what are you doing! I notice even more is my Facebook timeline! “What should I watch” “Im sick what’s on” “I want to binge any good shows”

Dead like Me (2003-2004)

Let’s start small we don’t want to go all out just yet! This is a short series that I wished would of lasted a lot longer than it did!! (They did later in 2009 come out with a short film)

 Any who the plot of this series about a chick name Georiga that becomes a Grim Reaper after begin hit in the head by a toilet seat on her first day of work! Instead of going a seeing happy ever after she is chosen to be a Grim Reaper. Her main task well her really only task is to REAP and get them souls! Now before you think this is a horror series it is not! It is a comedy. She has to try to keep her job and get them souls! If you like corky and funny and dry sense of humor you’ll love this show! If you want something Scary then next!!!!

Live, Laugh, Love, Lie, Repeat I don’t know who decided that we all needed to say Happy Holidays now.... but they should of changed Merry Christmas to Happy Family Time. Let’s be honest between Thanksgiving, Christmas , and hoping that you get to see a friend or a lover on New Years is all you really have time for. Expect for the crazy shopping of going out and buying all the gifts for your family when you are not actually spending time with your family. See key word FAMILY! So that is what I am going to blame my lack there of a blog on!!! Family, friends, Derby, and Life. But since Family time is coming to a end - I didn’t make Derby - I really don’t have no friends besides 2 which one works 24/7 and the other is 6 hours away! I’m back!!!! Roller Derby

So couple weeks ago I decided I would try Roller Derby again! Now I first tried this sport in 2010 when it first came to Muncie!! I was super excited since I always loved to skate and not going to lie I’m pretty good at it! 

Once I got there I found out it wasn’t for me!!! I was too young to enter the bars and I hadn’t really found who I was yet! Most the girls at that time who joined to be honest sucked at skating so I was like Na, I’m good!!!

 Now let’s fast forward to 2017 where I lost some of the most important people in my life!! To grandparents (who brought be skating 5 days a week)  to children (who was the most important people in my life)  and even a marriage (which fell apart in a blink of a eye).

As 2017 was and is coming to a end I thought to myself I got to change something! I got to do something that I give a damn about! Right around that time I found a women that personally doesn’t give a damn what I do as long as it makes me happy!! 

So I got to thinking what should I do as a hobby to keep my mind clear!! Keep my mind from thinking to much!! Roller Derby jumped in my mind first thing! I laughed to myself and said I ain’t screwing with anything in the 765 area!! But, I got to thinking there is one in 317 and they always look so happy when there at events!!! So I googled em! After googling em I saw they were looking into fresh meat! So I thought to myself Facebook em! Which I am glad I did! I never really been accepted for my lifestyle!!! Only a few have accepted me for who I am and a lot of them are gone now!!!

As I just finished the another day of Roller Derby I can honestly say there is not a soul there that I do not like! There all nice and they actually care about skating and the sport! Now I do not know shit about the sport so I have been reading up on the sport! But, there is a lot of rules!!!! So I figure it might be a hand on type of sport to learn!!! I haven't cared in a long time what happen to my life since I lost my 3 of my favorite people! but, between Derby and my girl I think I might just be fine!!

As a movie and TV guru I personally do not know how I missed this coming out! Some how thou it fell threw the cracks! I was on Facebook the other day and scrolling threw my new feed eating up endless time on the couch and I came across a AD for this TV show!! When I saw the word mutant I knew right then that I had to see the TV show! It came on a 9 PM so I made sure I had everything done so I would not get interrupted! Now the ad made it seem like it was the first episode out! But, 2 secs into the show I was like No there was totally a show before this lol! As I looked up I realize there was actually like 4 that have came out. So ya'll already know what I am doing later this week!!! The first thing that you are probably wondering is if its a rip off of X-men or any superhero movie. I honestly would have to say Yes and No. Are they trying to act just like X-men... No. is there things in common with "The Gifted" as there was in X- men.... well of course! I personally think after watching only one episode and it begin a couple in that this is going to be more family based. Showing how mutants pull together and are families just like everybody else. It looks like there is not going to be must villain vs superhero action which is a cool change. But, I highly doubt that last for long! There will be a mutant one day that will sell out to the guys trying to kill the mutants! Cause how could they ever catch em if there was not a sell out! Overall thou I would rate this TV show 4 out of 5 stars!!! It kept my attention the whole time I am eager to see what happens next!! The special effects are really cool and that is always a super plus!! So until next time That's A Wrap!!!

                                                      Wonderball

As a child I clearly remember going to a supermarket up the road called Marsh's all the time! I mean my papaw and I went there almost every day! Looking back the reason we probably went there so much was because my grandfather smoked packed a day back then!!! But, I don't remember that part!

 What I do remember is getting Wonderballs! Every single time we go to the store we would have to go to the check out line! Now I do not know about every body else BUT I would never ask for anything as I went threw the store! I would wait for that one thing I really wanted!! Now sometimes I would slip up and ask for something but if he said NO then I knew that meant NO! So I would think to myself go smaller go smaller!!

So today I took my mamaw to Wlamart! She had to meet a old coworker from the factory there! Somebody from the factory passed away and the family members didn’t know how to get there life insurance! Now since my great grand mother just passed away a year ago on the 16th my grandmother knew all to well how it worked!

As I felt like a child waiting to be spoken to as the grown ups did there talking I just waited! As they said there goodbyes and promised to stop by soon like older people always do! My grandmother informed me we mise well get Barak a treat! (Yes one of my grandfathers named there dog Barak after the president)

So as we walked to go get a treat for the dog and Baking Soda for cooking I saw the clearance ile! Now I love clearance because that means it cheap! So as I look around it mostly just cooking stuff that I have no interest in and then I see it THE WONDERBALL!

I told my mamaw look mamaw come here! Look what I found! As I showed her the Wonderball and told her the story of papaw always letting me get one she gets a sad look on her face! My great-grandmother and both grandfather passed away in a 3 month time span! Out of everybody in my family I am closet with my grandparents! So I told her its not sad its funny they still make these! I told her I cant pass it up! Its like 70 cents!!! Then I smile I wonder how cheap they were in the 90s and think papaw pulled one over on me every single day!!!! lol

As I sit here typing this I still haven't tried it I member it begin hollow in the middle and having a toy and some cheap hard candy in the middle!!! As I look on the box it tells me I could get 4 flavors! Watermelon , mango, blue raspberry, and cherry are the flavors that I could get! Now I could be wrong but I do not recall the chocolate begin flavor when I was a kid!!!

All I can hope for when I open this box is that its not flavored watermelon! As I am nothing like Beyonce I personally do not like the flavor Watermelon! I wonder if the Wonderball is going to be in that weird FOIL wrapping that it used to be in or is it going to be in plastic!

As I finally get into the box there is still the same ole foil wrapped around it! This time it looks like I might be getting a “dinosaur treat”! As I bite into the hollow chocolate ball I remember the great rich chocolate taste! (no added flavor) And see the little chalky candies!!! I looked into my box and see the sticker I got.... I got a parasaurolophus!! My spell check says I spelled it wrong but that’s what the stickers says lol!!!

 P.S. I just ate one of the little DINOSAUR Treats and SOUR is the right ending for that treat!!! WOOOOWEEEE I am not 5 no more!!! God that was awful!! I do not like TART things no more lol!!

I wonder if there was a Wonderball in each generation???

Hunting the Lost Symbol -2009 As I stood in front of the movies I got to thinking what am I going to watch today!!! I already had the rest of the series of Fear of The Walking Dead in my hand. So I was thinking I want something a little different than that! I don’t want to do two blogs on Fear of the Walking Dead! (By the way if you want a chill zombie tv show its a must) So as I stood in front of all the movies and TV shows I get the strong urge to learn something!! I watch so many TV series it’s ridiculous! Between Big Bang Theory, Sheldon, Seal, Blue Blood, Seal, Hawaii 5-0, NCIS, and Fear of the Walking Dead (pretty much anything on CBS besides Walking Dead) I didn’t want to add another one! So what better way to learn something new than watching a Documentary!! Now as I started this Documentary it was a Discovery Channel Documentary! Which I personally think can end in two ways and two ways only! It can end AWESOME or EPIC FAIL!!!! (You can learn something even if its a epic fail) Now it probably would of helped if I ever read a Dan Brown book!! I was oh so lucky enough to get out of it my senior year!! I had no urge to read such book back in those days!! I still honestly don’t! I don’t really believe in conspiracy theories! I do believe in finding out what the government isn’t telling us due to the fact that they do not want us to know! But, I do not believe my government (USA) kills millions of Americans to cover up something! Thats another story and another blog maybe!!! So this documentary is about the novel “Hunting the Lost Symbol” written by Dan Brown. He wrote this book as fiction and it’s about how the government is ran by a huge conspiracy theories and the Free Mason are in control of it! He goes on and says that George Washington is (was) the leader of the group and he is worship as a God! People used to say if George Washington was to be voted into president than he would of got every single vote! Supposedly their wasn’t a soul out there that didn’t like him! Then they go on to talk about how government buildings are place in a certain spot that lines up with the stars! They also say that it part of the Virgo alignment! Which is all fascinating and interesting but this is the part that catches me up! It started off a AWESOME documentary but turned into a EPIC FAIL half way threw! It’s awesome that there is a lot of WHAT IF’s and maybes but no one really knows if this stuff is true that Dan Brown wrote about! Like it’s cool they put building in certain order and it certain times of the years to make the more powerful but that doesn’t make it a conspiracy theories! Just make them in touch with astrology and nature! Some of it is true and some of it may not be true and some of it is false! The Free mason does a lot of stuff that people do not know about and will never know about to be honest!!! They are a very Private Group! They are not secret they do not talk about what they do because they don’t want to! So in the end there was a lot of what ifs and there was NO answers! I personally dont think a documentary should leave ya hanging! I did learn a lot of things about George Washington and a lot of different art work that has been done of him! This Documentary just left me doing my own research which I found most my answer! Which is great and all but instead of leaving me hanging they could of just told me the answers! Since the answers were out there! So In conclusion I give this Documentary a 2 out of 5! Until next times thats a WRAP!!!

Since it’s Halloween! Yea Halloween is a month long acutally more like 2 months but who to judge right!!!! I thought I watch some zombies!!!! Now there’s so many to choose from I know. It is so hard to choose I’ve seen a lot!! If it’s zombies or anything apocalyptic I’m already in love with it!!!! Now of course I’ve seen a lot of movies and I have been wanting to watch something new! I was going to re watch a bunch of movies and then write about them but then I thought Na I’ll watch some new ones!!! So I started looking threw movies and tv show and came across Fear of the walking dead!!! Now of course I have watch the walking dead so I thought let’s try the Fear of the walking dead!! Now I made a rookie mistake I went to the library to pick it up and realized after starting the series I had season 2!!!!!!! But I was already hooked so here goes nothing from season 2.... lol So it’s starts off them fleeing California and jumping on this 20 million dollar boat!!! Some people think the owner of the boat is not the real owner others don’t really care! Then they find this island with a family on it but something is just off about it! Like the family is not really that tight!!!! But they play this pretty little picture of a family but something is off! But over all it is a really good story!!! Then you find out the boat owner is gay and he is in love with a Spanish man! Then he didn’t take this pill and the Latino Mother is like Off my land! It kinda crazy for a second and a son and mother gets spilt up by choice and yea that’s the very generic sum up version!!! Now its very slow moving and the zombies are not done with the best makeup but is a good tv show!!! What I love about it is there is not much special effect and extra! There’s not a lot of things blowing up or zombies running every where! It’s very realistic!!! It’s a good chill tv show!!!! Y’all should watch it!

I have been slacking on my post lately! I am truly sorry for that!!!! I went on a out of state trip and just been getting back into the swing of things!!!! But, awhile ago I found this illustration and I love it! It looks like a normal picture until you look closer and you see all the bizarre things going on in the scene!! So as some of you are aware I am out of the state right now! I had to go get some gas today and a drink!! Low and behold they have little baby casinos in the gas station!! My mind was blown and still is!!!

Now since my previous post I talked about Wiccans I can elaborate on one of the coolest things I have ever seen done!!!! Now couple days ago I had to go to the doctor office to get a MRI done! Right down the road is a place called New Age People! They are a store that dedicates to people needs for spiritual, self help, and Wiccan needs! Now as I had time to spare I decided to go into the store and have a look around! So far I thought it was a pretty awesome store! Then I saw the crystals!!! When I saw them I had to go see them!!! (Photo of some of the crystals above) As I was looking at the crystal this women asked me if I have ever seen a pendulum before!!! I chucked and told her in the TV show charmed but that’s about it!!! She laughed to and said it doesn’t work like that!! I just agreed cause I knew nothing About it!!! Then she smiled and said would you like me to show you how it works! In my mind I think “well of course I want to see magic” but instead I smile real big and say yea!!! She picks up a pendulum (the crystal and hold it in her hand) she inform me that all crystals work different for different people!!! This pendulum was on a chain.... and she held it between two fingers and let the crystal move then as it stopped moving from the drop she held her hand under the crystal and said show me yes! At the moment it started swinging north and south! Then she said show me stop and in that instant not slowly but instantly it stopped moving! Then No swung east and west and maybe was in a circle!!!!! It was the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!!!! On that note I have to learn more!!! I want to know what all else is out there it was by far the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!! You guys prob don’t believe me but the best thing I can say is go watch for your self!!! It was amazing!!!
