as much as I like Greenflower or Lloyd x Brad(the black haired kid from Darkley's) I wish there was also at least some content on Lloyd x Gene (the redhead one from that school). Like both Brad and Gene are almost NPCs in canon, both ships are basically Lloyd x Oc

But Lloyd x Gene could be soo good, top tier enemies to lovers, toxic yaoi, smart x dumb, sunshine x sunshine protector, golden retriver x black cat-

Imagine these 10 y.o having major beef, with Gene percieving Lloyd as both dumb & weak in body & spirit & Lloyd seeing Gene as a smart but concieted jerk with ugly ass glasses and smartass remarks, which Lloyd counters with "-YOUR MOM!"

I hc that Gene's father and Garmadon are acquinted & they are NOT friends. Wouldn't say enemies per se, I just imagine them being hostile and distrustful of one another. Villains & criminals don't really have friends, allies at best.

This info is important cause since Gene's a canon genious, he probably got it from his father, who I imagine, would probably do some illegal shit like experimenting and/or having a profitable drug cartel. He would be the mad scientist type of villian, while Garmadon is more about brutality.

Back to the topic, you cannot convince me this man wouldn't know of Lloyd's existence. In fact, he is one of few who are aware, much to Garmadon's dismay.

So I imagine he would tell his son to be careful around Lloyd.

He may mean two things by that:

1. Stay away

2. Get him to trust you, so you (and by proxy me) have some leverage against Garmadon

My yet another hc is that Gene has MAJOR daddy issues & is on edge around his old man too.

So he probably was hostile towards Lloyd not only as an act of defience against his papa, but also because he is very individualistic

And by that I mean, Gene would be that type of person to think & act according to his own goals.

So Gene didn't try to manipulate Lloyd because of green bean being a tad bit useless and too kind for that shit school

And instead they were at eachother throats 24/7

Then we skip a good chunk of years, Gene is out of the school, probably in college majoring in biomed enginerring with full scholarship + doing research + working in the field or even having his own start-up. He also probably either in no contact with his old man or just very self-sufficient.

I want to hc that Gene & Sally (the ginger girl from Darkley's) are siblings, so she probably lives with him or at least recieves some help from her bro, anything to be away from their old man.

In this au Brad dates Sally, and Gene is NOT okay with that in a overprotective older bro kinda way.

How Lloyd comes around?

I want to include Brad & Lloyd friendship, as they were friendly in canon. So one day they probably stumble across eachother either in a comic book store or a grocery shop, nothing in between. They talk & exchange contacts. In the following days they are texting. One day Brad calls Lloyd & invites (begs) him to come hang out with the squad, cause Gene plans him murder each time he breathes in Sally's presence.

It's basically like:

Brad: man, you HAVE to go!

Lloyd: I don't know, I have a night patrol and-

Brad: PLEASE, GENE'S GONNA BREAK MY NECK TODAY I KNOW IT

Lloyd: and why me?

Brad: you can break him in half now, help a friend out Lloyd

Lloyd: *silence in agreed*

Brad: great, we meet at 9 PM at X

Needless to say, Gene would remember that exact bar hang out for a LONG time

Okay, I know you said Sally and Gene are siblings but can I interest you the idea of Gene and Skylor being siblings?

I like the Gene × Lloyd stuff (though I mainly ship greenflower). I think i saw a post on Tumblr that headcannon Gene as Chens son and Skylors brother, so I'm just coming up with this as i go since i don't remember what the post daid. I just wanted to mention it since it makes the greenius ship even better for me because Lloyds dad and Genes father have history together.

Gene may have his mother's smarts while his sister got her mother's powers. It also could mean that when Skylor went to ninjago first time she brought her little brother and put him in Darkleys per her father's request. Chen would most likely want his children to take over what he built and since Chen can't really teach his kids (I feel like Chen isn't focused on his children's studies or what they do as long as they give them elemental masters to go in the tournament).

Skylor was most likely taught by her mom and then later passed of childbirth when having gene, so gene wasn't able to be taught like his sister and since Chen needed them to at least read (mostly for if he gets rid of Clouse and wants one of them to read the spell book) He sent gene away to study at Darkleys because it was a school for Bad boys to.

YANDERE SIMULATOR EXCEPT EVERYONE HAS A SOULBOND WITH SOMEONE (AU?)

First of all, here soulbond is NOT exclusively soulmate

Soulbond here is a very strong connection between 2 people. IT ISN'T ALWAYS ROMANTIC! I am honestly tired of the soulmates crap, so I want to spice things up.

Soulbonds is just a very enhaced, destined connection between 2 individuals, but the nature of such connection is not pre established by any meana

Which means that bonded people can be lovers exclusively, can be enemies exclusively, or can go from lovers to enemies or from enemies to lovers

The nature of the connection is up to the people themselves. I feel like the soulmate concept restricts everyone involved — no matter what 2 people do, they are destined to be lovers. In my imagination soulbonds only bind people forever, but whether this bond would bring happiness or misfortune is up to them

Maybe there are also cases, when the feelings between 2 people differ in a soulbond (when individual A is bonded to B & hates them, at the same time individual B is bonded to A & loves them)

Either way when you are bonded you are unable to be indifferent the other person. Any strong feeling such as love & hatred, would be present

But how it is connected to Yandere Simulator?

Ngl, I am yearning for toxic yuri, so I came up with this whole concept to add drama & emphasise the connection between Ayano Aishi and Megami Saikou

Why i wouldn't have Taro be bonded with Ayano?

1. First of all, I pity Taro — he is so normal, Ayano would just ruin him mentally & perhaps physically (she is a yandere, that's not light or a simple jelousy)

2. Ayano doesn't even love him in the traditional sense, he is her lifeline, a cure, a solution! She doesn't love him because he is Taro, but because he provides her with emotions. If it were anyone else, she would be after them.

3. While Taro is a victim of poor writing and that's the irl reason behind his lack of personality in the game, the in-universe explanation could be that it is one-sided. Ayano doesn't know him in person! She never spoke to him even! Taro canonically remembers her as a random he bumped into in the hall! That's all! I doubt he even knows her name. Ayano on the other hand is consumed by him, he provides her with emotions, strong sensations in her grey world. She stalks him, sure, but she doesn't know how for example, what is his opinion on the last movie he watched, or whether he had cereal or pancakes for breakfast. She doesn't have real mundane conversationa & small talk with him! She knows him from the angle of what he (unknowingly) provides her with

Their bond doesn't exist because there's a lot of indifference present (and because I wanna save poor Taro from toxicity)

Why Megami and Ayano are really fit to be bonded in this AU?

1. Their equals. They are essentially the same person. However, there are also things one has & takes for granted, while the other lacks & wants.

In particular emotions for Ayano. I hc she is envious of Megami being well...normal in that aspect. Megami can simply feel, be happy, sad, angry from the start, while Ayano has to fight tooth and nail for that.

On the other hand, Megami is envious of Ayano's learning. I hc that Ayano is a fast learner, near a natural genious level. She felt close to no emotions, canonically "sets a goal and goes towards it single-mindly, like a robot" & the fact that she studied a lot to get into academy, without any internal distractors in hopes that pleasing Ryoba would make her feel something — definitely trained her brain to absorb information & learn in an extremely high speed. In canon Ayano is a very skilled social chameleon & almost nobody actually sees her for who she is (and nobody from an average populace). That makes her efficient in quite everything. Her brain is trained, she can absorb and be efficient twice as fast. Her lack of emotions made her compensate with cognitive training. That means while Ayano & Megami are equals, Megami has emotions, even if she hides them. Megami spent YEARS of HARDCORE TRAINING to achieve superiority. What took her years, would take months for Ayano to go to the same level. That is why Megami envies her.

THAT'S WHY i want to see these two bonded for life. I want them to hate, to envy, to try and outbest, outwit, outsmart & fail — because they are the two sides of the same coin, they are the same, they are equal and too evenly matched.

I want to also go enemies-to-lovers route & make them both develop, progress & appreciate what they take for granted. I want them to have deep convos, preferably while being held at a gun's point or in any other tense situation (neither are normal & normal circumstances wouldn't make them speak).

I want Ayano and Megami to talk, and see what they have for the first time, and not only what they lack. Gratitude is the new black.

I want Ayano to see that Megami is the one that can handle her and vice versa.

They don't need normalcy, because that is not them at all.

Ayano's obviosly not average, Megami is literally conditioned to be the perfect CEO. There is no in-universe other person that can understand & handle them rather then themselves.

Their relationship would be toxic yuri, but it would NOT be full of illusions. They know who they are & what they signed up for.

Like are we still on the Ras x Lloyd drill????

Cause what if they have so much homoerotic tension thats some people start to assume they are a freaky gay couple, who fights as part of foreplay

Now let's teleport to the Spectral Lands. What if Morro is not the only inhabitant? What if our dear Lord Garmadon came back to his senses? What if he became a chaotic fusion of sensei & lord self, something like him in early seasons (just a centuries old theater kid)

And he spawns there, starts vibing there. Maybe he can't leave for some reason, either a spell or any other means PHYSICALLY disabiling him from leaving Ninjago's equevalent of hell

Maybe he tries to find any news on the ninja, especially his son

AND THEN Morro brings him a newspaper??

AND THERE'S AN ARTICLE TITLED " ARE THE LEGENDARY GREEN NINJA & DARK WARLORD RAS DATING?" with the most gay image from their fights attached

And Garmadon reads VERY carefully through the whole article. And then he nearly sets the whole room in flames

Oh no he's not angry at Lloyd. No of course he isn't dissapointed & he is NOT homophobic like wtf.

He is DEEPLY concerned though.

Lloyd is a young, passionate, kind boy, who is VERY trusting. & just look at this Lord Ras! He looks like the most evil being in the universe! What if he hurts Lloyd? Worse, what if he ends up coaxing his boy into a relationship & then betrays him?? What if he traps him an an abusive partnership?

Just imagine the amount of images swirling in g's head. And he finds a solution to this

Lord Ras has to be neutralised (read as: killed)

Morro is like: uncle, i think you might be overreacting-

Garmadon retorts: oh you are one to talk when you took away my son's free will and traumatised him

Morro just shuts up at this

And then Lord Ras endures at least 2 assasination attemps weekly for the next 6 month

While Garmadon is determined to find a way to get out of the Spectral Lands, because apparently the assassins can't even do ONE job right

Something about Lloyd & Misako

Something about them generally not being close, just Sensei G was like glue this family in Season 3 & 4.

Like green bean forgave her for sure, but I don't think he forgot. Maybe Misako was also acting distant towards him

Somewhere here I saw a hc that Misako would rather be the cool auntie then a mother & it makes perfect sense. She loves her son, she truly does, but I think she might just be a little less fitted for being a mother figure then the cool rich auntie. She loves being LLOYD'S mother, she just like less being a MOTHER

I imagine her finding out she is pregnant & be very shocked at first. I also hc that Lloyd wasn't planned, but was dearly loved since they knew he was there.

Misako probs got quite a handful of parenting books, since she seems like the type to want to be knowlegable and prepared. But this is the FSM family, like her hubby is literally part god & her son had to have at least some non-human features — so even from genetics & biological point of view this family is hella different from the average

Just cause she read & read all the books she could touch, doesn't mean she was prepared for ALL challenges that come with motherhood

& Let's not forget Garmadon's banishment

Like some of you overlook that aspect massively, thinking "oh well, it's not THAT bad, she could've handled it" NO SHE COULDN'T CAUSE BEING A SINGLE MOM IS VERY TOUGH

I was raised by a single mother & she had some help from my grandparents, so she could leave for work while my grandma took care of me

Trust me if Misako doesn't have parents or anyone who could help — she'd have to sacrifice her reseach on prophecy ENTIRELY to raise this boy

So I imagine her doing that for a little while, but then it hits her.

One of 2 people she loves would die. If Garmadon lives, Lloyd has to die, if Lloyd lives Garmadon has to die. That's how this prophecy works. And one night she makes a decision that'll impact all 3 of them together.

She chooses to enroll Lloyd into Darkley's

Why wouldn't she give the boy to Wu? Cause that cryptic man would be faster then ever to prepare Lloyd to kill his dad

She knows that there his needs would be taken care: he would have housing, food & safety, something she couldn't provide him if she took him with her on expeditions

And she makes that call.

Starting from Lloyd's 4th birthday, she celebrates it alone. Without the birthday boy.

I imagine her sometimes being in deserts or on expeditions that day, maybe even with other archeologists

And in her tent she quietly cries herself to sleep.

Cause she knows, she knows she severed all ties with her only child. She knows he probs doesn't even remember her, she knows that he must feel abandoned, she knows it all.

& Then she sees him at the museum and his reaction is EXACTLY how she anticipated — he despises her. And she knows he has every right to.

When they made up, that's where Misako genuinely can't see the logic behind his forgiveness. She is happy he cares, but why would he? Maybe her guilt causes her to be a little distant towards Lloyd & give him room to connect to his dad instead.

Maybe she looks at Lloyd & Garmadon and thinks "they are family" & feels like she is a spare piece to it rather then a neccessity. Maybe she is content with Lloyd slowly growing closer to Garmadon then to her, because he's happy. Maybe during all her research to save her mental stability she convinced herself that lloyd's happiness & her being his mother doesn't go in pair that well

She abandoned him, she hurt him — it is a direct proof that that Lloyd's happiness couldn't be cause by Misako's parenting.

And so they live like that.

But then end of Season 4 comes.

And now there is nothing gluing this mother & son together.

And Misako is hurt. She is hurt by her husband's demise but more she is scared. Cause now she is the only parent Lloyd has & she doesn't know what to do.

They grieve. Maybe it's like when Lloyd breaks down, Misako is in calm mode & vice versa — neither break down at the same time

But there's a first time for everything.

Maybe one fateful day they start some casual talk. Maybe they are in Garmadon's room & they are just looking through his things

& they find a family album.

As Lloyd looks throught it while Misako just cleans up, he sees a photo

His baby self being held by Misako

& maybe it triggers a very important question

"Why did you leave me?"

And maybe Misako stiffens

Cause she doesn't know what is the RIGHT thing tp say. She is tired

And that exaustion causes her to let her guard down & push her walls. She starts about the prophecy & Lloyd interrupts her

"Please give me the real reason. Did you....hate me?"

And she laugh bitterly & then cries

"Oh no, son, not in a moment"

"Then why?"

"Cause I wanted both of you to live"

"Yeah but didn't you feel hurt in a second?"

"Oh I did."

"I would just rather you hate me & be alive, then be dead"

And Lloyd malfunctions. They stay silent. For quite some time. Misako can't even bring herself to look at him.

"But the prophecy is done. & one of us is...already gone."

And Misako breaks down. Cause that's the truth. Cause that is done. Cause one of them died & the other lived.

"You....saved one of us. You...made me survive."

"...."

"But don't you think it's...time to live?"

And it hits her. It hits her, the fact that she kept her distance from her own son cause that was the only way that she knew could protect him.

But now? Now there is no danger. Nothing to protect him from.

"I'd...like that"

And that's the first time they actually feel connected (& definitely not the last)

It's an AU set 2 years after season 8, in here the ressurection failed and Harumi was sent to prison

Arisa's the new princess Lloyd is tasked with to protect, cause Ninjago, reasonably, is wary of the new imperial family after what happened

Girly is a snob and a sassy bitch, who isn't afraid to hit home on people she dislikes

And Lloyd is not having it

(that's the lightest part, wait 'till she draws a knife to his throat oops spoilers)

Also gave our green bean a new uniform, since he would a royal bodyguard and I imagine the imperial family giving him a new suit for this job

And no, not Harumi, not the stereotypical love at first sight, not to "progress his character" again, but for him to HEAL

And no, not friends to lovers, not even allies

He needs to be salty as in the canon, he needs to be suspicious, he needs to LOATHE her, not just because of her title but because she is not sweet like Harumi, because she is bitchy like Harumi

Because she is abrasive, cold, and wears a mask as well. Because she is Harumi in so many ways, yet in ways that cannot make Lloyd fall for her just yet

We need them to be ENEMIES to lovers, for them to hate

For this princess to press on his sore spots as if her life depends on it

And for his gentleness to be nonexistent with her, the only thing holding him back from breaking her neck is the the royal protocol and prison sentence.

Yet they bond

Bond by conversations and heated arguments, the "lovers" part seeping slowly from the cracks of their masks. They have moments of bliss and crisis. They hate and love and hate again, only for them to be whole in the end.

So he probably leaves a note in her locker asking to meet him. When they meet, explains how he saw her that day

She thinks "shit, he is a witness, I have to dispose of him as soon as possible. Can't let my image be ruined at least"

And then he says how much inspirational this encounter was for him, speaking about her with such admiration

And Ayano is like "bitch wtf, I am not your fantasy"

Yet he persists & suggests to paint her more

She thinks, that he is stupid and insane. He knows, so he decides to blackmail her into participating, since she seems to be the only suitable muse & an only way out of art block (he is spiteful after all, that wouldn't be too far for him)

She wants to end him badly, yet he chose a place too crowded so she can't right now

Relucantly she agrees, while planning on how to kill him later

And from their garden full of thorns, slowly love will blossom and burn

So he probably leaves a note in her locker asking to meet him. When they meet, explains how he saw her that day

She thinks "shit, he is a witness, I have to dispose of him as soon as possible. Can't let my image be ruined at least"

And then he says how much inspirational this encounter was for him, speaking about her with such admiration

And Ayano is like "bitch wtf, I am not your fantasy"

Yet he persists & suggests to paint her more

She thinks, that he is stupid and insane. He knows, so he decides to blackmail her into participating, since she seems to be the only suitable muse & an only way out of art block (he is spiteful after all, that wouldn't be too far for him)

She wants to end him badly, yet he chose a place too crowded so she can't right now

Relucantly she agrees, while planning on how to kill him later

And from their garden full of thorns, slowly love will blossom and burn

LLOYD X READER PART 1: PECULIAR GUY

Lloyd is a… peculiar guy, to say the least.

When I moved from Metalonia to Ninjago, I had no expectations of this place. I took a one-way ticket as soon as I realized that nothing held me back in my home. I thought “maybe I’ll find my place here” — but looking back, I never felt more confused than now. Everything here is strange, different, and new. New customs, new places, new food, new people.

Lloyd appeared in my life like a rainbow after a ruthless storm. Yet in this case, I must be colorblind. The moment I saw him in the café where I work, I was unfazed. He was just another customer, ordering a simple espresso, wearing a basic khaki hoodie and ripped jeans. Nothing I hadn’t seen before, and nothing I wouldn’t see after.

Yet everyone seemed to be so flabbergasted by his appearance in the café. Several girls were circling around him, asking for autographs and selfies. He seemed a little shy, yet never refused any of them.

The counter was getting crowded, which was getting on my nerves. For fuck’s sake, let me take an order from that guy! Is he a celebrity or something? I hate this job.

As I later learned, apparently Ninjago is a very popular target for attacks by every possible evil force. I should’ve researched it before moving… coming to such a dangerous place is probably one of the stupidest ideas I’ve ever had. But in my defense, I have no home to return to, so it’s not like I had much of a choice.

As my colleagues told me, there’s a group of local heroes — ninjas — who’ve saved this place numerous times, often risking their lives in the process. That guy, who turned out to be named Lloyd, is the notorious “Green Ninja” and a benevolent leader of the team. That deserves respect, yet I was left with even more questions than before.

Do they have a teacher? How did they meet? Did someone recruit them? Do they get paid for this, since it seems to be a time-consuming job? If not, how do they earn a living?

Yet the most important question was…

Why would they do this?

Don’t get me wrong, what they do deserves respect. However, I long ago ceased to believe in altruism and the greater good. If they get nothing in return and on top of that risk their lives — why would anyone keep doing this?

These guys are truly peculiar.

As days went by, Lloyd continued to visit the coffee shop. He seemed oddly punctual, always arriving at 9 a.m. and ordering the same thing — a cup of espresso. When I tried suggesting something different, he only said that “it helps to keep me awake.” I did notice his eye bags getting more and more prominent each day. He seemed tired. Which raised even more questions about why he kept doing his “job.”

In the mornings, the shop is pretty quiet, so I can spare more attention to each customer. He wasn’t an exception to this, and each time he visited, I had an opportunity to make some small talk. At first, he seemed surprised when I asked “how are you today?” — which was strange to me. It’s the basic question I ask all of my customers. After all, we’re responsible for the shop’s reputation. We cannot afford to be perceived as rude or unwelcoming, or else the manager will just fire us and find new people. “Perks” of working in customer service, I guess.

But as time went by, we started talking more, and I found that we had quite a lot in common. He has a great taste in comic books and in energy drinks — specifically Monster. He seems to like wearing jeans and oversized hoodies; anything baggy and comfortable would end up on his wishlist, I think.

He also hates New Year’s resolutions as much as I do. Which is logical — they’re pretty stupid, idealistic, rigid, and sometimes just unachievable. We agreed that the world would be a better place if people just made monthly goals and didn’t promise themselves things they clearly wouldn’t do.

He is a funny and relatable guy to me. Always optimistic, yet in his voice lingers something else. Anguish? Anger? Fondness? I don’t know. It’s subtle, yet there, and it makes him even more fun to uncover. He is like this one puzzle piece, so similar to others yet never fitting.

But one day he didn’t come at the usual 9 a.m. Then not at 10, not at 11, not even at 12. He didn’t come at all that day. I was… intrigued. He claimed that he couldn’t go on with his day without at least one shot of espresso and a Monster somewhere along the way. Yet he didn’t come, and our little morning small talk was interrupted. Maybe he had his daily dose of caffeine somewhere else? Yet he once said that espresso from my hands was the best espresso.

Why am I getting worried? I really shouldn’t be looking into it that much…

After my shift ended, I was preparing to leave. As I locked the shop, I looked around. The café is located near a park, so as always I was met with a beautiful nighttime scenery. The numerous trees, a pond, benches so loved by youth and elderly people, all lit by the street lamps, giving it a nice golden glow. It was quite a wonder, how a place so full of nature was in tandem with a pair of modern skyscrapers, which led to the busy city life.

As I looked around, I noticed someone sitting on a bench nearest to the café. The figure was tall, hunched, with hands covering the face. The figure looked oddly familiar…

“Lloyd?”

Something was… wrong.

He yelped and looked toward the sound of my voice. I realized what was wrong — I was met with puffy cheeks and bloodshot eyes. He was crying.

Usually, when someone cried or was visibly upset on these benches, I just minded my own business. After all, I too would’ve liked to be left alone at tough times like this. Yet here was someone I knew, not just vaguely, but personally. Still, we weren’t friends or hanging out outside my workplace.

So once again I was left with confusion.

What should I do?

b) leave and mind my own business
