I had this dream where you made art of a bunch of Polites crowding Ody but like each Polites was from a different au I have seen, some yours like siren and angel Polites, but also a bunch of others too and it was glorious. Ody was so flustered lol anyway just wanted to share and hey if it ends up inspiring you then that's a bonus

the boring answer is no not really. when i was a kid i looked up to Bernini and uh Peter Mohrbacher. as an adult the only artist i go "wow" to to any degree is Bernini and that's about it I consider myself my own goal post to ascend to and beat

This illustration took me several months to complete.I’ve been busy with animation school, especially working on my 2D thesis short film with my classmates, so I’m really happy to finally finish it and share it. I really wanted to explore more dramatic compositions and symbolism in my illustrations. The piece was also heavily inspired by The Water is Fine (Crimson Edition), by Chloe Ament , a song I deeply love that fits my characters’ stories so well.It represents a scene from my story, featuring my own version of the Greek god Poseidon and Sekhmet from the Egyptian mythology.I hope you like it. I can’t wait to share more about these characters soon especially an animatic I’ve made that I’m planning to clean and post on YouTube this summer when my school year will be over. I don’t say it enough, but thank you so much for your patience and for the lovely comments on my art. It truly means a lot.

I’ve had Odypoli in my brain a lot lately. Which in turn has made me further reflecting on how I imagine their relationship is. To me, they’re such a “No label could ever describe the connection we have. All I know is who I was before and after you.” Maybe I’ll draw/post something to further expand on it. For now you get these :b

Also the reason Polites has yellow pupils is because of his godly relations with Anteros being his father n stuff. And speaking of pupils, I originally sketched them smaller on both of them but ended up widening them based on the idea that when you stare at something you love they grow.
