Why do I feel like the facts that Dr. Strange said, "I'm sorry Tony, there was no other way...", Robert coming back to play Dr. Doom, and the next Avengers' movie featuring Doom and Strange as main protags and antags have something to do with each other. 🤔🤔🤔

I guess what I'm asking is, if this is a timey-wimey thing and Doom is a version of Tony that was Ironman and then became Doom, did Stephen see that in one of the futures and sacrifice Tony because it was an easier decision in the meantime?

I know that it was partially to do with them having to replace Kang, but it would tie some things together.
