sprite sketches for an Asher VN/dating sim a friend had planned. never came to be, but I thought it’d be a shame to just throw these away. might still change em up a bit and use em someday tbh.

originally I had sketched a fully expressive player character (guardian), with two options for each class (male- & female-presenting; titans were human, warlocks exo, hunters awoken) but it was too much effort for basically nothing, since the player was gonna be a self-insert anyway (with neutral pronouns), in which case keeping them in their iconic d2 gear with the helmets on was a better option

i had also suggested there should be a bad end to the game where you wake up next to drifter, but alas, no ‘concept art’ for that lol
