I love Maria Robotnik she's my girlie

She meets Black Doom for the first time and like obviously she is afraid. He just snuck up behind them and talking spooky and is big and something she's never seen before. Ofc that'd freak her out

Then she promptly tells him to go fuck himself

Then looks so genuinely unimpressed and unbothered by this guy. Girl is radiating her tween energy w that second expression. She's like "Shadow are you seeing this shit?" There is judgement in her eyes. She is NOT intimidated.

And then she looks so concerned by Shadow's reaction and is concerned for him! She doesn't care about Black Doom, she cares about Shadow.

Maria is not intimidated by Black Doom. I think that's awesome.

I need Eggman to treat Sage the way Maria treated Shadow.

Like seeing parallels with the Robotniks. Like, if their big grins are inherentable. Perhaps Shadow found Maria’s grin endearing, but seeing it in her cousin creeps him out.
