Raifer was giggling. Hell, it'd turned to completely hysterical laughter as Probos punched and smacked at him, hands hitting his armor. She was a titan, and with how she was clearly fussing and holding back, he didn't think she'd damage his suit. The mercenary still quickly side-stepped away and rose his hands up in a gesture of surrender as he tried to fight his own reactive laughter back.

"Fuckin' hell it wasn't that bad, girl!" He protested, trying not to find the humor in her clearly heated temperament, and her scrunched, angry expression. "What're ya, my mom? I don't think I need permission to use unorthodox tactics. Kinda what I'm best at. Might not have that whole fancy rezz shit, ya'll guardians got, but fightin's still fightin', baby blue."

Raifer had positioned and used one of the cabal's launchers to send himself and a metric-fuck-ton of explosives directly into the aerial warship the cabal had dominating the Earthen skies. It was risky, but it worked and took down the ship in a spectacular crash.

"I went Hindenburg on that cabal ass up there! Like I've always said: I'm here for a fuckin' good time, not a long time. Ain't nobody got me yet."

At the Giggling is where she made the initial punch. And it was unintentionally charged. It made no harm to him, but it showed her true feelings. Even if she harmed his suit on accident, she did her best to hold back. She even forcefully ripped her helmet off and threw it on the floor on one fell swoop, a singular motion. Oh, she was mad.

"It was that bad!" She shouted. "And No, but I love you, you idiot! And it's not about using unorthodox tactics! Or the technique! You have someone that cares about you here, now, and you can't keep thinking like no one cares what happens to you! Because I care!"

She grabbed him by the arms, pulling him close, as if she would do something, but did not go through with it, as she looked at him with anger, as it just slowly became sadness and relief, as she gently placed her face to his chest. "... I love you, you stupid idiot..." She confessed absentmindedly, in her most honest self.

Idiot? Love? Love!? Whoa, whoa... Raifer had to mentally slow himself down to a crawl. Hell, it yanked the towering soldier out of his almost berserk like high from combat to hear those words. All that adrenaline was gone, and he found himself just with jitters instead, plus a really bad need to literally piss away any remnants of that energy. Unpleasantness all around, even worse that she was holding him so tightly.

"Uh, I mean, what's the point of doin' it if there ain't people who love ya? If I kick the bucket, it's not 'bout people not lovin' me. I know plenty of people do, I just know the taste of glory is near when the scent of blood and opportunity is in the air. They'll tell stories about me. In that, in my glory, I'll live eternal."

Raifer's helmet emitted a hiss as it released pressure, the holographic skull of his visor fading to static, and finally, to black where it lifted to expose his face as he looked down to her, where her head rested against his chest. He slowly allowed his arms to wrap around her back.

"Um, what's this whole "love" deal goin' on, though," he dared to ask, even swallowing a bit thick as an uneasiness settled in his mind. Raifer wasn't so sure about making relationships anything significant or longstanding. Commitment was a faithful man's road. Not his. To remain with one single person for that long? That was crazy.

I’ve been telling everyone I know for YEARS not to buy Blue Buffalo.

This is the short story:

A few years ago I took my sick cat, Ankh, to the vet. The vet and vet tech asked what I fed her. I told them Blue Buffalo. They looked like I had just told them I fed her razor blades and cyanide. They diagnosed her with pancreatitis and said that nearly all of the cats they’d been seeing lately with pancreatitis were being fed Blue Buffalo. They gave her medicine and sent her home. Two days later she had a seizure and died right in my arms.

The day after she died Hannibal started displaying the same symptoms she had so I panicked hard and took him to the vet. Got the same meds and the same diagnosis. Luckily Hannibal survived.

I wish Ankh had survived. She was only ten and the best cat I’ve ever had. Literally the best and five years later I still cry when I think about her.

FUCK BLUE BUFFALO.

I don’t know the full story behind the tweets above, but a Google search shows there HAVE been several recalls regarding this brand, especially in 2016. I would absolutely avoid as it is not worth the risk.

I worked in a vet for a little while and I shit you not, when a dog came in with constant diarrhea they were always eating Blue Buffalo. We changed the food and the dog got better every time. Blue Buffalo is garbage food and never feed it to your pets.

I’ve never heard of this brand but I love my dog with all of my heart and I’d be broken if I ever accidently fed her this and got her sick (people give me different dog food to try all the time). I’d hate for anyone else to lose their pet also.

Being kicked out. Important post.

So my mom’s kicking me out and wants me to move in with my grandfather who is a child molester. So I’m asking you guys for some money to move out, I’m in serious danger of moving into a place that doesn’t take my mental health seriously and will misgender and dead name me.

I’ve also cancelled my service with betterhelp since it was too expensive for me to do. My bank account is extremely low from buying Christmas gifts and I don’t get paid till next week. I work a part time job and I can’t work full time since it breaks my body. So I cannot work full time.

Another is my mom forcing me to be with her young guy friend that she’s probably slept with. So I don’t trust the men she’s with.

I’m probably gonna look for shelters around my area or get my friends to help me in these crucial times.
