Greetings… I have heard news of you being a… what did they call it… a “fam-pyre”?

However, truth be told I haven’t the faintest clue on what that is meant to be.

*He holds one of his gauntlets up to his face and scratches his chin inquisitively*

I overheard something about your sharp fangs, and the fact you take in the consumption of blood, but truth be told that just sounds to me like the usual traits of a person with a carnivore’s body…

Even I have fangs, and I’m no stranger to the taste of scarlet ichor as much as I hate to admit it…

Does that also make me a “fam-pyre”?

Might it just be a name for us folk with carnivorous bodies?

“I’m afraid there’s more to being a vampire than what you’ve heard from me,” Maverick takes a moment to think of his next words, “vampires have unique abilities and skills that most normal pokemon do not have, or ever will have. Most vampires can’t be out in the sun, or not for very long, and we have weaknesses that pokemon of our species do not have. Sure, we drink blood and have sharp fangs, but there is more to us than that.”

“Honestly, I’m not really sure where this place is either,” he shrugs, taking a quick look around the area, “no, I don’t live here, simply here for the festivities.” You’re uh, free to hang around if you want? Not like I’m going to be moving around until the sun starts coming up,”

"Well well aren't a curious Typhlosion! Tell me what kind of moves you're rocking? Can't say I'm all too familiar when it comes to your species compare to my brother," Falkor hummed as he looked down to Maverick. "Are you a special attacker? A physical attacker? Or perhaps something else entirely? This old fart want to know what's up!" (@ask-the-diamond-kingdom)

“Oh, my moves are nothing too special,” Maverick chuckled a bit, crossing his arms. “I won’t share all my tricks, because where’s the fun in that? but I’ll at least tell you that i do know flamethrower.”

"Hello! How's it going? I hope you will have a great time here! I, do, have one too!

Anyways, oh...wait, Typhlosions usually have yellow or in Hisuian one - purple/pink. But yours is blue...why is that I ask?"

“Ah, hello to you both.” He looked over as both Tsuya and Cherry approached, “I suppose normal hisuian typhlosion have purple or pink flames, but I’m not exactly normal now. Being a vampire does play a part in the reason my flames are blue. My mother also had blue flames, so i inherited it from her. Blue flames aren’t very common for vampires, let alone typhlosion.”

Okko was close by when Maverick was chatting about being a vampire.

A-A-A vamprie!? I-I thought those were f-fake a-and only humans can be vampires! B-But pokemon t-too!?

Okko was shaking heavily and clutching his Okko plush harder than ever.

“Have you never met a Pokemon that’s a vampire before?” Maverick laughed a bit, sharp fangs glinting in the moonlight, “then you’re definitely in for a surprise.”

( @ask-the-sneasel-twins ) Maverick @ Blaise: “Ah, a witch, hmm? I haven’t seen one of those in many years,” the hisuian typhlosion chuckled a bit as he momentarily thought about it. “Anyways… would you ever consider evolving if given the chance?”

Blaise: It’s gonna be a bit cause I won’t evolve again until level 36 and I’m only level 20 right now. I don’t wanna force it though cause that can mess up my aura, which is kind of important for an elemental user.

Say, you said that you haven’t seen witches in a while? What does that mean? What were they like and what happened to them?

“I used to have a friend that is a witch. I’m unsure what happened to her, since she left town several years ago. Wherever she is, i do hope she’s okay. However, there are witches around where i live, yet i don’t really see them that often due to… you know, being out more often at night than the day.”

Blaise: I’ve only ever read about them in books! And even then, it’s believed that any “sightings” were just bat pokemon being mistaken for vampires.

Is it cool if I ask you a few questions? I’ll tell you some facts about witches if you’d like!

"...When I first met zem at ze Lantern Rite, zey were standing in four and having more chill time zan now..." She somehow looks at both Fern and Blossom trying to communicate with certain dragons, but failed.

"After ze festival, zey mysteriously appeared at ze Director's office. Zey were found at ze Area Zero. Y'know it's always has annomalies like zis since it was ze place for ze Paradox Pokémon, but sometzing strange is also 'appening accordzing to ze rumors..." She says with a little seriousness. "But thankfully, zey do remember me, and so, we're talking to each ozer time to time..."

She is getting a bit relieved.

Ken took a moment to think about what plans he had for the event. He seemed curious about the Magi.

“I know N…also wants me to…try and socialize….and meet…new people….but I want…to know more….about…the magi. We have to…offer…..them berries…and water,…..are they Pokémon? A legendary Pokémon? Or something more…?”

Joline: And I guess you can say I've came here to check out the hot springs. Been awhile I got myself some sort of spa treatment. But mostly to find my brother. I was told he's around here somewhere and hopefully to meet up with him. It isn't Christmas after all if it isn't about family.

Romeo: "Hey there kiddos, I bet the freezing cold doesn't bother you at all...maybe except for you" He says while looking at Kuro. "Luckily, there is a hot springs to warm yourself up. How are you liking the event so far. There's plenty to do here, anything here you both wanna try out?

“I’m not really too bothered by the cold, even if I’m not an ice type like my brother here,” Kuro replied, looking over at his brother. “Though the idea of the hot spring does sound nice…” he tapped his claws against his cheek, as if contemplating the idea.

“The event is so fun! Even if our dad isn’t here to enjoy it, as I’m sure he would have enjoyed the hot spring.” Shiro spoke up, answering the second half of the question. “Though… i would like to make a new friend or two while I’m here.”
