The reaper glared, air blown out of his impressive jaws in the expression of a snarl, before his mind finally caught up with his body and rewinded the last five seconds for review and approval. His eye widened, finally registering the unmoving Shedinja as definitely not a legendary trying to kill him.
Oh crap.
"…Mewdammit. Mewdam- I didn’t hurt you too much, did I. Tell me I didn’t. I don’t want to be held accountable for ghostly homicide." He hovered over to the fallen Shedinja, leaning over the hollow caparace. Reaching over to pick it up, the feeling of a breeze stopped him, before the husk started levitating again of it’s own volition. He hovered back a foot, the golden bands lighting up momentarily. Well, that was a relief.
"My apologies. I’m… not myself at the moment." He grunted, glancing hatefully at the dark patches levitating and vanishing in the air. "I’m afraid I’m not sure myself… All I know is that I was fleeing from two legendaries made of darkness when it stuck to me. My best guess is shadow byproducts from both of their auras together trying to consume me because of my typing."
It was fortunate that it did not have to wait long. The dusknoir regained its senses, and had hovered over to the shedinja to aid it. Not that it couldn't right itself though. "It is as I said, attacking me with your moves won't kill me. Being a dusknoir, you have other ways of killing me. You certainly do. But not by throwing punches like that one."
The shedinja seemed to bore into the dusknoir's eye as the larger ghost explained the black substance. The husk began to mumbly whisper as it floated closer to the dusknoir and shifted it's body to focus on the black essence. "Two legendaries of darkness? There might be books about them somewhere."
Letting some of the essence touch and sweep around it, the shedinja turned it's body to further face the dusknoir's eye. "Do you happen to know Will-O-Wisp? I would like some light to better see this matter, but although it may not look like it, you punch has made me too weak at the moment to use my own moves."
