A Really Big Project Incoming

Okay guys, so I haven’t been updating recently... but I have been working on something. A big something. Something with a capital S.

And I could use your help.

If you have a Minecraft OC, even just an interpretation of a Minecraft character, and a bunch of spare time on your hands...

Go here and pick a trump card that matches your character best. Two or three if you’re unsure. Then reblog this post with the character’s name and the card(s) you chose.

Oh, and make sure you have a reference image of your OC lying around somewhere... I might need it.

hey guys, i’ve got some news for you! i’ve realized that i could totally be doing more with the craftlands characters than i am, so i’m going to write a new story starring the main four characters!

tarabethel cord is your average everyday gamer girl who looooves minecraft and spends every day trying to find more diamonds and catch a glimpse of the legendary herobrine! but then she installs a weird mod called the craftlands mod and suddenly when she plays she gets sucked into minecraft! O-O

there she has to make friends with the suuuper shmexy king of the craftlands, steve, who is having trouble with the super evil herobrine that is destroyying the land!!1! she also discovers mystical powers unique to her that allow her to copy ppls abilities!

however when she gets kiddnapped by the herobrine she isnt expecting him to be her age, or an ultra hottie! he tells her that hes not evil and that steve is actually planning to destroy humanity, which side will she believe?

theres alsoa mysterious teenage mercenary named tungsten who wanderss the land, killing ppl for the right price! hes always in pain from his special abilities and hides a dark past. maybe he has a heart of gold somewhere?

Someone was in the woods near Xan’s home.

Now, that normally wasn’t such a big deal - Tara would probably just get them to go away somehow before they reached the ruins, and failing that it was usually enough to bar off the door and hide in a corner.

But Tara wasn’t here today (she’d gone to get supplies), and Xan was entirely alone and defenseless.

The man walking through the woods arrived there more by accident than anything. He was just wandering, enjoying nature. When he saw the ruins, he made a bee line right to them. Ruins could be home to some interesting and rare plant species.

Steve pushed some vines aside with his arm. The other being a nub ending just above the elbow didn’t really help with much these days. What a curious sight it was to see a door amidst the Ruins…

Xan had been wandering through the woods as well, and was just coming home when he froze. Someone - definitely not Tara - was approaching the ruins he called home. And he, being a massive idiot, had forgotten to lock the door.

He broke into a cold sweat as he considered his options. On the one hand, if the man got in, he could steal everything valuable from them. On the other hand, distracting the man could require him to reveal himself, and he could die.

Steve walked up to the door and knocked. Now that he was in full view he wasn’t an intimidating sight. Yeah, he was tall and covered in more scars than you could shake a stick at, but he didn’t seem mean or harsh at all.

He knocked again, making sure this home wasn’t occupied so he could look at the plant life with no trouble from the owner.

An idea occurred to Xan as he watched the person knocking on the door. He took a deep, nervous breath, then carefully crept around behind a tree,found several fallen branches, and stomped down on them as hard as he could.

KRAK.

He winced at the sound, then picked up a rock and threw it at a tree across from him. If he could just keep making interesting noises, maybe the man would get sick of trying to check out the ruins and Xan could lead them somewhere else.

Steve turned toward the sound, looking around for its source. He found none, but walked toward the noise anyway. “Hello? If you’re the owner of this house I mean no trouble, honest. I was just wandering and enjoying the forest when I came across your house.” He called to no one in particular. Steve always tried to avoid conflict when he could.

Xan took a deep breath in. It almost seemed like this person was willing to reason with him, although he was still suspicious.

He stayed behind the tree and called out to the man. “I-it’s my house, yeah, I just, I was j-just walking around the forest!”
