As someone who likes both Cersei and Tyrion, I think Cersei/Tyrion is an amazing hatefuck AU kind of pairing. Yes it's messed up but that's what makes it fun. I wish more people talked about how he seems to be attracted to her at points in the books and her creepy sexual dreams about him in AFFC.
I see so many people ask why sansa stark is shipped with more people than anyone.
1. She is called/ told / viewed as pretty beautiful radiant lovely more than any other character.
2. When she does converse with other characters the only ones in cannon she has difficulty with is arya whose her sister so sibling rivalry and all. Joffrey and cersei just ugh lysa another ugh
3. Tyrion thinks she would have made a good queen at the purple wedding
4. She is only 11-13 in the books so far and as marillion put it she bewitches all men
This fandom needs more Theon/Catelyn crack.
idk what that anti-anti shit means and i do not intend to get deep enough to find out - but itās baffling that people are still discussing what ships are Good and Moral and what ships are Bad and Evil. we are never going to all agree. there are some asoiaf ships i despise, but itās not my place to argue with strangers about it. i shall quietly distrust those who do ship that stuff, because it does bother me personally and iām not keen on those who enjoy it and what their enjoyment says about them, but equally i keep it to myself and mind my own damn business and engage only with that which i DO like. is that so bloody hard?š
I'm generally all for ship and let ship, especially in ASOIAF where literally nothing is black and white (e.g. Jaime/Cersei and Dany/Drogo make me deeply DEEPLY uncomfortable, but like, ok, I can see where people are coming from) but I'm sorry, I am just weirded out that people ship Sansa/Petyr and Theon/Ramsay š¶ The one is a grown man grooming a child and the other is simply horrific abuse. I just... even to "ship" that in a fictional setting is disturbing to me
What are your favourite ships and least favourite and stuff? (owner of this blog) would you post a confession if it's bashing your ships?
I personally love Jaime/Brienne and Arya/Gendry. Those are my main top two. There are others that I kind of like but donāt feel that strongly about, like Jonerys, and then a lot that I just feel neutral about. There are some that I donāt really like, such as Sansa/Littlefinger, Sansa/Jon, Jaime/Cersei, and probably some others I canāt think of at the moment. But I donāt have a problem with people who ship these, they just arenāt my cup of tea.
I pretty much post everything I get in my inbox. The only time I wonāt post something is if it has something triggering in it. So even if you have a ship I donāt like, Iāll still post it. Recently though Iāve been thinking about deleting asks that attack the shippers instead of the ship (so for example, I would post something saying āI hate the Ned/Cat ship because of XYZā, but delete something like āI hate people who ship Ned/Catā). But I donāt get a ton of those types anyway so idk. If anyone has strong opinions about this let me know.
Also while Iām here, if you ship something and donāt want to see hate for it, I use the tag āanti ship-nameā so you can blacklist that.
Not to name names but I'm so baffled by some people on here who seem 10000% convinced Jon & Sansa are endgame, like.. I couldn't care less who either of them end up with tbh, I don't ship either of them with anyone in particular, but the text as a whole just simply doesn't back up "jonsa". Like if you read the text objectively, not selectively, there's just no compelling evidence. ppl really will convince themselves their headcanon is canon š¤·
i don't know why, but I absolutely can't stand any fanfiction set outside of canon. modern aus make me want to stab myself in the eye with a fork. (sometimes i skim-read them just for the smut lol but then i erase them from memory)

I kinda ship Queen Elia x Consort Stannis. She'd be the Queen of the Iron Throne and he'd be her royal consort and admiral of her navy. Plus they both deserved better than having to live with the treatments from Rhaegar and Robert respectively.
Fandom doesn't appreciate Aegon I x Rhaenys enough. It's possible to find there both romance and angst. Also it's so cute that their only kid is in fact named after both of them. Aenys = Aegon + Rhaenys, y'know.
I have a theory that shipping with Sansa is so erratic and random bc she has no good canon options. Joffrey was a demon. The Hound put a blade to her throat twice and was about to rape her. Tyrion married her to gain access to her family holdings, molested her, and she was miserable with him. Littlefinger abuses and manipulates her. Willas sounds nice, but we don't know him. Robert Arryn is a terror. Harry the Heir is a jerk. It's not a surprise she has so many crackships attached to her. Though I can't say Jonsa or Sansaery are any better than her canon options since Jon isn't attracted to girls like her, who he looks down on, and she would find him horsey and ugly since he's the male version of Arya. Meanwhile Marg ditched her when she couldn't use her and then helped set her up for murder. It seems every possibility or crack option for Sansa is terrible.
I don't get how anyone can ship Arthur and Elia canonly. He betrayed her too.
Since this is a shipping blog, I was thinking I might make a fic refs page. But I want it to include more than just the ships Iām into, so send me some of your favorites!
