I like whump. I'm not writing for now, but I might eventually. they/them 18 I made a sideblog so I wouldn't freak out my moots on my main. Yeah. tw for violence, gore, trauma (?) and all that whumpy stuff

My main blog is @umbrellahat07 I post kinda whatever I want there, it's unorganized and kind of a mess lol.

I am not currently writing anything, mostly just reblogs right now, though I might in the future. If I do, I'll post links here.

Caretaker walks in unconscious Whumpee's hospital room just as the doctor is extubating them and flips out because they think the doctor is taking them off life support

Whumpee lying limply on a hospital bed, their body trembling with pain yet simply looking up at Caretaker sitting beside them, each other's hands linked together - and Whumpee being the one who's sorry. They're sorry they've made everyone worry. They're sorry everyone has to see them in such a pathetic state. They're sorry that everyone has to accommodate them. Oh, they're so sorry. Caretaker has no words. They're the one who was put through hell back and they're sorry? They're the one struggling to speak through all the bandages & swelling and they're sorry. Whumpee's the one who can't fall or stay asleep because nightmares of what was done to them keep plaguing them. And they feel the need to apologize. Caretaker can't imagine what nonsense they were fed by Whumper that this is what they say when they're the one suffering.

Whumpee awakens curled in the backseat in someone's arms.

They look down, their entire torso is drenched with blood.

They start to panic, but someone holds them tightly. "Shhh, shh sh, it's okay, go back to sleep. Close your eyes." Someone grabs a blanket and covers their chest with it.

"You're going to be fine, I got you. Go back to sleep... Please."

A hand brushes over their face and closes their eyes. Whumpee finds themselves doing what the voice tells them to.

idea somewhat based off of a thing that literally happened to me and a friend once irl- whumpee sick with a fever and caretaker trying to check whumpee's temperature by feeling their forehead. caretaker has one hand on whumpee's forehead and one on their own to try to feel if whumpee is warmer than them, but can't feel a difference. friend/third character steps in and feels whumpee's forehead and is confused how on earth caretaker isn't be able to feel the warmth coming off whumpee. third character feels caretaker's forehead to find that caretaker ALSO has a fever, but is so tired/overworked/oblivious that they genuinely haven't realized that they're sick too.

Whumpee who has just accepted/realized that Caretaker was actually not going to hurt them and genuinely cared about their well being, and can’t wait any longer. They curl into Caretakers lap or lean against them on the sofa, so touch starved that they don’t even care. Caretaker stroking their hair back out of their eyes, unsure what changed but perfectly willing to go along with it.

"Its so small. It's parents probably kicked it out because it wouldn't survive."

"IT'S NOT TOO SMALL! IT CAN DO BIG THINGS! IT JUST NEEDS SOMEONE TO LOVE IT!"
